Author POV

While Harin was having a
temporary error, Jungkook
had finished looking everywhere
downstairs and outside so he
went upstairs to help the
malfunctioning girl.

He went from the other side
knowing that Harin is
on the opposite side and looked
through all the room that could open,
some rooms are locked for a reason,
when he opened a door that
he didn't expect to open because it's
supposed to be locked.

Inside the room were curtains and that was it. It is one of the few other rooms that is being renovated which is why it's supposed to be locked.

The room was pretty much empty
so Jungkook didn't bother to
get inside because it's not
like Daeun could be anywhere and
not be seen.

Just as he was about to close
the door he heard a small snif
so he fully got into the room
and that's when he noticed
the curtains move a bit.

Jungkook: "Daeun?"

He slowly moved the curtain
to the opposite side and saw
the tiny girl in a crouched down
position and a tear stained face.

Jungkook POV

Sitting beside her, I bring her onto
my lap then begin to gently
wipe her tears.

" Daeun what's wrong"

Daeun: "she doesn't want
to give me a sister"
She cries.

"ah- wait what?-"

"wAit- explain to me
what happened"

She told me that when she
asked for a sister, sibling,
Harin said no so she's now
upset.

Harin: "Daeun!"

"perfect timing"

"miss Shin Harin
why aren't you letting
our daughter get a sister"
I ask smirking up
at her.

Harin freezes for a second
then laughs nervously as
she sits in front of us.

Harin: "becauseee"

"because what"

She glances at me
then rubs her hands on
her pants before reaching her
arms out to Daeun who willingly
went into her arms.

Harin: "baby do you want
to see eomma in pain"

Daeun: "no"
She snifs.

She side eyes me as she gives
me this look and I scoff in
disbelief.

Daeun: "eomma has to
get hurt to get me a sister?"
She asks confused.

Harin: "ehhhh sure-"

Daeun had stopped
crying by now and it looked
like she was thinking.
