Alex could only really have a deep sigh to himself as he laid down on the couch and thought to himself.
'Well, four months was too generous. It was only a matter of time before Schicksal would come to Arc City. AE is also targeting here as well. Still though, is it really safe to go to them so soon? What if we're apprehended by Schicksal on the way? That'd be the worst case scenario.'
As Alex kept on thinking about the current circumstances, his phone went off as he received a message.
He looked at it and saw that he had been given a mercenary request to take down a small horde of low level Honkai Beasts.
The boy had been getting many requests like these nowadays and since it was relatively easy money, he really had no reason to decline.
After accepting the request, he got off the couch and put on a black coat before latching his sword onto his back

Once that was all done, he went over to his room and checked on Kiana one last time.
"I'll be back soon." He said as he left his apartment room, locking the door as he got onto his motorcycle and drove to the part of Arc City where the mercenary job was at.
After a bit of driving, the boy arrived at the spot and sure enough there was the small horde of Honkai Beasts wooly rummaging through the area.
Alex approached the beasts, calling their attention as they all turned and faced him.
The boy drew out his sword and began to take on the horde.
One by one he began to slay the monsters down as he eventually got done cutting down the last Honkai Beast.
"Well, all in a day's work. Let's go." He said to himself.
Right as Alex said that, his senses went off as the boy felt something from behind charge at him.
In a quick second, Alex turned around and blocked as in front of him he saw what seemed to be a dark and neon green mechanical dog as its jaws were latched onto his sword

"The hell? Let go you damn robot dog!" Shouted the boy.
He then heard a whistle ahead as the mechanic animal let go of Alex's sword and walked towards whoever had whistled it over.
The boy looked up and saw a familiar face.
