Hyunjin was sitting at the table waiting for Felix to arrive. He was excited and determined to make this the best night ever, Hyunjin looked at the diamond ring in the small black box once more as if it would disappear if he didn't check on it.
He was nervous he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. Hyunjin never felt this way about anyone or at least didn't think he could feel anything like this...
Hyunjin felt the presence of someone approaching the table, he quickly hid the box in his coat pocket worried that Felix would be standing behind him but when he turned it wasn't Felix—Yang Jeongin.
"Is that for me?" Jeongin teased, Hyunjin rolled his eyes as he stood up. "Jeongin what the fuck are you doing here?" Hyunjin grunts quietly trying his best not to make a scene as he towers over Jeongin. Hyunjin didn't want this night to be ruined.
"For our date of course! You never bothered to take me here." Jeongin pouted as he looked around the restaurant. "Jeongin, leave. Right now...!"
"But I only just got here," Jeongin replied.
Hyunjin grabbed Jeongins shoulders glaring at him in the eyes, Hyunjin was serious. "Leave—"
"Kiss me," Jeongin said abruptly.
Hyunjin looked at him as if he was crazy.
Felix had just entered the restaurant and was making his way to the table excited to Hyunjin.
"Kiss me or I'll scream." Jeongin fought in Hyunjins grasp but Hyunjin only tightened his grip.
"Jeongin leave right now or I swear I will fucking—" Hyunjin was cut off by Jeongins lips on his, and that's when a gasp was heard. Hyunjin pushed Jeongin off of him disgusted.
But his dropped when he saw Felix and tears forming in his eyes. He knew what Felix was thinking, and that's what scared him. "F-Felix, it's not what you think—"
"You fucking bastard." Felix let out a quiet sob before turning to leave, running out of the restaurant.
Jeongin only smirked licking his lips, "Oh, there goes another one of your playthings." Jeongin let out a giggle.
Hyunjin was furious.
Hyunjin turned around and saw Jeongins satisfied smirk on his face, Hyunjin grabbed Jeongins throat slamming him into the table.
Jeongin choked as Hyunjins hand began to tighten.
"I will fucking kill you," Hyunjin growled. By now everyone was looking but Hyunjin didn't care.
Jeongin felt his eyes watering as he hit Hyunjins arm to get him to stop, Hyunjin realized what he was doing watching Jeongin turn red. He backed off.
Jeongin let out a gasp for air as he coughed falling to the ground.
"You stay the fuck away from Felix," Hyunjin warned before walking out of the restaurant following behind Felix.
"No...no... Hyunjin..." Jeongin whimpered under his breath. His hands made a fist at his side when he realized Hyunjin left to follow Felix. Jeongin was angry, he couldn't stand how Hyunjin was so head over heels for Felix...so head over heels that he was going to propose to him.
- Hyunjin caught up to Felix outside and grabbed his arm making Felix stop. "Felix please it wasn't—" Hyunjin was cut off by a slap.
He looked at Felix, his face red tears streaming down his cheeks, Felix yanked his arm out of his grasp. "Don't you ever...touch me!" Felix gritted his teeth.
It made Hyunjin hurt to see how upset Felix was.
"Felix please you have to listen to me—it wasn't like that okay—Fuck, I didn't kiss him." Hyunjin pants.
"And I'm supposed to believe that?!" Felix sobbed.
"Felix please." Hyunjin held Felix by his arms trying to pull him closer, "No, no, stop it. Let go!" Felix whimpered as he fought to get out of Hyunjins grasp.
Hyunjin let him go.
"I fucking hate you! I can't believe I fell for all those lies you told me. Saying that you loved me?"
"Felix don't, you know wasn't lying—"
"I don't know. I don't know you. You are not the boy I had a crush on in high school. People change." Felix replied angrily. He wanted to hurt Hyunjin like he believed Hyunjin hurt him.
"You don't mean that." Hyunjin let out a heavy breath trying to keep tears from forming in his eyes. "I never want to see you again. It's over now." Felix took a step back as more tears streamed down his cheeks.
Felix began to walk off, Hyunjin dug into his pocket and pulled out the ring, the moonlight reflected on the diamond causing it to shine brighter.
