You ever just take a trip down memory lane?
You know, that section in the far part of your brain?
Most of the time you dread it.
Refusing to go into that pit.
However, other times it's a good thing.
You yank on your memories, pulling them on a string.
A string connecting to your past.
Showing you your actions, leading up to your last.
Delving into your thoughts can help.
It's better than repressing and going "whelp."
But it can also harm.
Memories can catch you with no alarm.
And suddenly, you're trapped.
Trapped in memory lane, trying to adapt.
You must adapt with your past self.
Think more on the memories you hid in the back shelf.
Deep in your brain.
Continuing to fight through the pain.
The pain of memory lane.
Because in order to move forth, you have to look back.
Back on these thoughts that give you a panic attack.
Relive the pain.
Fight through memory lane.
