"Sit down" Bella's mum says pushing me next to her
"Why am I here? I thought Zayn and I had to get a divorce?" I ask
"Well, you and your sister need to get something straight" she says "your relationship"
"We're grown" I remind "we don't need you making our decisions for us"
"Well since you're so grown, why would I have to be the one to get you to even speak to each other without the word bitch involved?"
"Get out" Bella says
"What're we gonna do anyways?" I ask
"What would you like to do?"
"The usual"
"Nutella and Netflix is no way to live"
"Uh...I disagree" Bella says "sounds like the perfect life to me"
"See? Even the bitch gets it"
"Yeah"
"So you guys are bonding over your hate for me?"
"Thought that was obvious" Bella says as I held back a laugh
"Maybe you're not that unlikeable"
"Me?" Elizabeth asks
"No" I roll my eyes "Bella. You wish someone would find you likeable"
"I know I can be a bit of a pushover but I wouldn't say I'm unlikable"
"What happened to you? You used to to be so caring, and now all you care about is yourself" I say. Her brows furrow
"Is it that I changed or is it that you finally realised what kind of a person I am?" She begins "or maybe you were to blind to see everything bad"
I was left confused as she leaves the flat
"Where's Zayn?"
"He's upstairs with the boys"
......... "You know, you say boys like they're yours"
"They are now" she shrugs me off "mum said so"
"Well I actually don't care about a single thing she says so no, they're not yours. They're mine"
"They're mine too"
I turn to the figure of the voice
"Hey"
"I thought you were never coming back here again?" He asks
"Well you may think I'm so horrid that I could keep my kids from their father, but I wouldn't"
"You know, you don't have to speak to me like I'm a stranger"
"I know" I say with a shrug "how have you been?"
"You saw me yesterday"
"Most people say fine but whatever" I take a breath "can you call the boys down? We should be going"
"Can't they stay just a little bit longer?"
"Why don't you guys stay for dinner?" Bella asks
"I guess" I say "Boys?"
"Yes mummy?" Jawwad says running down the stairs
"You and Jabir are staying for dinner ok?"
"You can stay too" Zayn says
"I guess"
"Can I speak to you for a second?"
"Won't your wife be suspicious?"
