"Song Of The Unloved"
You are the path, you are the guide
You are an honor to have, you are my light
You are the rod that helps me navigate the path when I'm blind
So hold my hand, don't go without me
You became the moon in my night
And I'm the night so don't leave me
How dark would my world be without you
My heart would shatter if I lost you
And I think you know the reason why
Would you feel the same about me?
If I walk away would you miss me?
If I die would you be sad?
I've created so many rivers and seas
I've built so many gardens of sorrow
But every river would dry up
Every plant in my garden will soon wither
I am bound to love anyone who doesn't want me
Nobody wants to love me, no one will
My curse is to have my heart broken so many times
Too many times I chose not to feel anything
I had to bury my heart so many times
I cannot even count them anymore
I don't have any idea how many graves I dig
My anger and pain grow in time
Bigger than my capacity to be nice
I wanted love at any price
I didn't know the price for wanting love
The price is to be shattered like a glass
If I would've known, I wouldn't have wanted it
I was never happy but I hope they are
This is the song of the unloved
Hear the pain through my words
Feel the coldness in thy symphony.
