Announcement

Pin's POV:

Right now my life was just like fairy tale and something that others would envy of. Never have I ever prayed for anything rather than getting rid of Kris from my life. Also it wasn't the way it happened, I just expected him to leave me alone and allow me to live my life. But then, no one knows what the future holds in store for them.

Right after Son proposed me (which he thinks as he proposed but I consider it as cheating), everything was going at a speed that things began to look blur. That night we spent our time in balcony basking in moonlight before Son declared it was late and we should go to sleep. I was obviously not in mood to sleep since the night looked really beautiful and I was too reluctant to move. That resulted in Son carrying me inside the bedroom since the temperature was dropping and I would have caught cold.

The next morning, Son was the one to get up early and when I finished getting fresh and headed downstairs, I heard my mom squeal in delight. Son had already informed her about the proposal and they both have prepared a special breakfast to celebrate. But who knew that this was just the beginning?

Even old man was happy after the news was broken to them by Son and he began calling each and everyone of the relatives to inform them about my engagement. Who would have expected that he would be so happy seeing me getting married? I tried to joke saying that he was in hurry of kicking me out of the house but this time he didn't fight back but just said that he had been waiting for this moment when I would finally find my other half.

As the days progressed more and more things were happening. After breakfast, we left for office and Son looked so happy. I am sure he would have informed his parents by now.

When we reached the company, I can see people busy in gossip and that made me a little worried. "Son, is something wrong?" I inquired as he pulled into the parking lot. "Por must have done the announcement. We are holding a small press conference in the eve." Son replied.

We stepped out and headed to the department and when we walked in, I could see many boxes being carried and circulated around. "We are supposed to go out at 3.00 pm so be prepared." Son informed before moving towards his cabin.

I made my way towards my desk and placed my belongings and sat down. I had just turned on the computer when Prim appeared with blinding smile on her face. "Congratulations Pin!! So, am I supposed to call you boss from now on?" she spoke.

"Prim?? Sssshhhh!!" I said while trying to hush her. "Oh ho Pin!! It won't be a secret anymore. Boss has made announcement about introducing his younger son and his fiancé to the press this eve. There is a small function at 4.00 pm. And all are requested to be present in the auditorium. People have already started to gossip about the younger son. I am sure all of them are going to go pale after coming to know that Son is actually the heir of the company." Prim said.

"Prim, but... Don't you think it's too early?" I asked being a bit doubtful. "Oi Pin!! You are so stupid!! If I was in your place, I could have gone to parlor right now to do my facial so that I would look really presentable for the event. And here you are thinking it's too early. It's already more than months and there couldn't be anyone more better than Son. Just imagine how lucky you are!! He has rejected all the girls who have approached him and chose you. This is just a dream come true!!" Prim's eyes were sparkling as she spoke, probably trying to imagine herself in my position and imagining about getting proposed in a grand way.

"Hmmm... I will try to be calm...." I muttered. "And yes, Son has booked some appointments for you so now you need to come with me. We have a lot to do." She declared. "What appointments?? I don't know anything!!" I replied.

"Son know you too well that's why he didn't tell you. I have the list and all you have to do is come along or there are orders that you'll be dragged along with me if you don't listen. Son has already made arrangements for travelling and also to make sure that you won't run away." Prim cleared.
