Falling

Pin's POV:

I made my way towards the canteen and then looked around to find that one familiar face. I saw a hand waving at me from the furthest place and then the thin, fair skinned man came into view. I felt relieved upon seeing this person and made my way towards him.

"Pin, what took you so long?" he inquired. "My Dept. head!! The first day at work and I feel like resigning." I replied. "Huh?! What?? Is he that bad?" Pond asked. 'He is too good to me.' I thought. I was about to reply his question when someone came and stood beside us.

"Can I join you guys?" the person asked. Why?? Can't he leave me alone? "Son, you can at least spare me to talk to my friend. You are shadowing me around ever since we have met." I grumbled. "Come on baby.... You didn't even buy food. Take this." Son said placing the plate in front of me. To my surprise, he had already bought my favorite food.

"When did you buy this?" I asked. "When you were busy talking to your friend. Now hurry up and eat, you know that I don't like people returning back late. I won't mind though if you are late but I don't want others to have a chance to talk." He replied. Sonnnn!! Stop making my heart melt.

I grabbed the spoon and began to shove the food in my mouth. "Ow Pin... Who is your departmental head?" Pond inquired. "Me!!" son said with a smiling face. "JESUS!!!" Pond said keeping his hands on his chest and pretending to faint. "Pond stop over reacting." I stated.

"Pin!! You have got the best person as head. I wish my Dept. head was same as him. Bdw, I am Pond, I met you last time at the seminar. Remember?" Pond began his conversation with Son. "Hi Pond, I am Son... Pin's boyfriend." Son said. Pond's mouth was hanging open while I spit the juice which I had just taken a sip of.

"Baby? Are you alright?" Son asked while cleaning my face. It took me a while to survive the mini heart attack. "Son, when did I agree to be your boyfriend?" I shot back. "When we were in my cabin and when I had pi-" I closed his mouth with my hand before he could speak any further.

Pond was looking at both of us with confused expression. "Pin... I hate you!! You traitor!! You already have a boyfriend and and and.... Shiyaa... I don't even want to speak about it. At least spare your colleagues from seeing something that they shouldn't." Pond said.

"Shut up Pond!! You are attracting everyone's attention towards us. Nothing happened between us. And he is speaking about the duties he had assigned to me." I explained hurriedly. But then, I should know that I am dealing with Son because that very second, he kissed my palm.

"Damn!! Can you stop that?" I asked irritated. "Nope... Never... I love to kiss you." Son replied shamelessly. "Kiss?? Did he say that?" Pond tried to confirm. I caught my hairs and pulled them in frustration. Surviving this two is like balancing myself on rope.

"I am done with lunch. I'll see you later." I said getting up from my place in haste and rushing in the direction of my department. Thankfully, I was in time since only 2 minutes were left for the lunch break to be over. I walked straight to my desk and sat down.

I began to go through the dairy while fuming in anger. Why do I feel like Son and Pond had been teaming up against me?

After I was done taking the note of contacts and checking the dates of meetings, I started with he data feeding. I was cursing the two internally for the loss of peace of my mind. Earlier I had to tolerate only Pond but now, I have another addition and that is SON!! My stomach grumbled now because I haven't eaten anything. Damn you Son!! I am now hungry because of you. My poor tummy is suffering for your acts....

I was too engrossed in my work when Prim walked up to me. "Pin??" her voice was almost a whisper when she called me. I looked up at her and saw her leaning closer. I was a bit scared but then she slowly pulled out a parcel and handed to me. I looked at her in confusion. She stole a glance around the place and then motioned me to come close. I leaned forward and then she whispered in very very inaudible tone, "Sir asked me to give you this. He said that he saw you hurrying back to dept. because the lunch break was almost over. He noticed that you didn't have anything."
