John and I were walking in the park on a very sunny day taking pictures of each other for our Instagram accounts.

"ooo John go stand at that fence!" I say holding up my camera

John leans against the fence doing his traditional smirk. I take the picture giggling. we swap places and he is completely awestruck.

"do I look bad?" I ask getting nervous

"you look so beautiful (y/n)" John says smiling

he takes a couple of pictures and walks over to me showing them.

"It's the way the sun hits your beautiful (e/c) eyes," he says looking at me

"I've never really paid attention to how beautiful you are and I feel like I missed so much," he said cupping my cheek

my heart pounds. we were only supposed to be friends. but I've always had a small thing for him. his goofy personality and his little talents make him truly unique and I will always love him for it. I'm in deep I think to myself smiling.

"OMG (Y/N)! WE NEED TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE DUCKS" John yells

I laugh jogging over to him and snapping a couple of pictures of the ducks. he gives them some random bread and he is the happiest guy on the planet. I walk over to a light pole and lean on it watching him. I see him point the camera at me and I look away smiling.

"OH MY GOODNESS (Y/N) YOU'RE SO STUNNING" he shouts running over to me

I look and see the pictures of me looking off in the distance leaning on the light pole holding my camera (definitely not a pose I had for my senior pictures oop) he looks at me. I look back at him making eye contact we both smile as we continue to take pictures of each other.

I sit on the swings as John leaves to grab something from his car. I'm just taking pictures of nature and people to pass the time. I eventually look up and see John holding a punic basket and blanket smiling with his goofy toothy grin. I giggle and walk over to him taking a quick picture

"Hey! I wasn't ready for that!" he pouts

"you're still cute," I say not even realizing what I said

his eyes go wide and so do mine. we make eye contact and I get red in the face. I see his checks slightly turn pink which is a very rare occurrence for him. I take his hand and lead him to the closed-off grassy area where I put the blanket down. we sit next to each other and eat our lunch enjoying the comfortable atmosphere of the sun shining and the birds singing.

"I love you so much John," I say looking at him

he chocked on his water making me jump

"Are you okay?" I ask worriedly

"y-yeah," he says clearing his throat

"do you mean that (y/n)" he says looking at me

"of course I do John you're so perfect to me," I say leaning into him

"you're gorgeous darling" he whispers as our lips collide sending chills all over my body

"I know I've never said anything before because I was scared of you rejecting me" he sighs

I blush

"same here, I thought I would never be good enough for you," I say looking down

"(y/n) look at me"

I look up at him making our eyes lock

"you're my word, and I mean that I wouldn't be the man I am today without you"

I lean over and hug him kissing his cheek.

"you're so adorable," he says booping me on the nose

I giggle and do it back

he tackles me and tickles me until my chest hurts from laughing

he hovers over me kissing me softly. I wrap my arms around his neck giggling.

"you complete me (y/n)" John says

"you're my soul mate John," I say looking into his eyes

"we're perfect for each other," we both say smiling and looking into each other's eyes
