it's been a super stressful week for me. I've done nothing this week but film and edit videos for my growing youtube channel. I know my boyfriend Jaren can tell. he is trying so hard to leave me alone so I can focus but he also wants attention from me.

I'm in my office trying to narrow a three-hour recording to a twenty-minute video. I keep slamming my desk and grunting because the editing app I use keeps kicking me out. I finally give up and walk downstairs to grab something to eat. I see Jaren in the kitchen on his phone

"hey baby, how's the editing going?" he asks looking up

"horrible every time I finish a section it kicks me out. I think that's my sign I need to take a break for the weekend" I say defeated and laughing

"yeah I think you need a break darling you've been at it all week," he says coming up behind me and wrapping his arms around me kissing my neck

"I've missed you," I say turning around and kissing his lips

"I've missed you too sweetness," he says kissing me back

"oh man I don't have my favorite ice cream," I say pouting

"look at the fridge baby," Jaren says

I open the fridge and see three containers of my favorite ice cream.

"but I ran out yesterday," I say looking at him

"I know I looked this morning and saw so I ran to the store to pick up some groceries and bought it for you," he says smiling

"awe I love you so much," I say hugging him

"I love you too baby, I know you've been super busy so I wanted to help you de-stress when you were finished," he says kissing my temple

"do you want to finish the rest of (fav show) since we're relaxing now?" I ask pulling him to the living room

"of course let me get blankets and snacks first," he says as I turn on the tv

he comes back later with a big fluffy blanket for us to share and some popcorn. he sits down and throws the blanket over us putting the popcorn down. I move the popcorn to the coffee table and let Jaren lay his head on my lap as I turn the show on from where we left off playing with his hair and looking down at him from time to time.

I smile at him and he smiles back bringing his hand up to my face and tracing my freckles with his finger. he brushes his thumb over my lips as I look down. he moves up kissing my lips passionately. I kiss back softly and wrap my arms around his neck. he sits up and I get into his lap laying my head on his chest.

i snuggle into him as he hugs me kisses my temple. i eventually fall asleep feeling safe and protected. i feel him pick me up and carry me to our bed room tucking me in bed kissing my forehead.

"have a beautiful sleep my love i know you need it" he says

he slips into bed next to me pulling me close.

I love this man with all my heart.
