chapter 31: PHASE 1

Several weeks past since the mom incident but neither me nor Liam seem to have recovered from it. Liam was always panicking about mom? If she didn't return home by 9pm he'd call her. If she was at her job, Liam would call ever so often to make sure she was fine.

It wasn't only Liam that was worried about mom. Henry and James both asked me about him constantly. and although I was touched, i couldn't help but feel extremely annoyed at times. Not that i don't care about mom but in my opinion they were over reacting a bit too much.

I got my first paycheck soon after the mom incident but I didn't spend a bit of it on myself i was saving it up for later and maybe if we saved enough we were gonna move into a bigger house.

After the mom incident i began to visit dad in jail. But i never really told him what had happened. I knew he, like everyone else was gonna over react.

But the main reason I was not so focused on mom was because I had a new plan. I was gonna make jacks life hell. And phase 1 of my plan was to make him and Emma break up. But not in the normal way. I wanted jack to know how it felt to be cheated on. So everyday after school James would hang out with Emma or stalk her. But we didn't find any dirt.

Instead I decided that I'd asked James to be "friends" with Jack and pretend he thought Emma was cheating on him.

James POV

"Dude I'm sure i saw her clinging on to that guy with the messy hair. You know the one that looks like he's from the dumps. Why do that let in filth like that anyway" i said. And jack was buying every word.

2 weeks later

I paid one of the senior kids to flirt with Emma and make her fall for them. i also told them to do it infront of jack.

So that day during recess me, Jack, Henry and Emma were talking when the Senior kid, Alessio came and was like "so the library at 8pm. Be there? Also don't bring your books. We won't need them" And than he winked and left.

Emma turned as pale as a ghost and Jack looked at her in shock. "Why are you going to the library?" Jack asked. "To study. You know he came up to me last Wednesday and asked if I needed help. He probably saw that i was struggling." Emma said cooly. But i knew that the seeds of doubt had already been planted.

Mia POV

"Damn!! I wish I was there to see the look on his face. Must have been funny!" I said after James told me what had happened. "Yeah but I think jack wants me investigate this." He said looking bumed out. "Yeah I know I'm making you do so much but you know. I want this" i said smiling "and I'm not saying this is hell or something. But you know I'd do anything for you." He kissed me on the cheek and left.
