chapter 21: arguments

I woke up the next morning and found myself in the middle of a fight as soon as I went outside. Liam was shouting at Emma "I can't believe you. I came back to pick you up and you left with Jack" I heard Liam say.

"Oh come on Liam. Why are you making it a big deal? I couldn't wait for you all night. And it's not like ill cheat on you with Jack. Just chill will you" Emma was being her usual self. "You know what Emma. Mia was right. None of you know how to value anything. I came back for you. That was something I did for you. But you can't value what I'm doing to make our relationship work." Liam sounded mad but Emma was now fuming with rage "why do you always talk about mia. After she came you've been very hard to be around. And let me remind you she is why I moved out. And about 3 months ago you use to call her a loser"

"Yes, I did call her a loser. But after I've got to know her I've been ashamed of it. But since you have no emotions you won't understand." Liam said. And I started to feel really uncomfortable so I just dashed downstairs. Emma was having breakfast with us today. And I was annoyed. She was giving me death glares the entire time. I mean why. Honestly why.

After breakfast, I checked my phone to see that I had 34 missed calls from Jack. So I decided to give him a second chance and I called him. But I didn't talk for long. I just told him that I got a little hot-headed and said it wasn't his fault. But in reality, I didn't mean any of it.

Later that day around 3 pm dad came back home. Finally. He looked exhausted after he caught his breath he said "we still haven't caught the thief but we are back on track now. We are making several losses but it's going to be fine in a week or so."

"So mia, liam, how was your day" dad asked. We both looked at each other and said it was fine and left.

Then Liam and I went to the library and spent 4 whole hours there and at the end of it, Liam was great at Italian. But he was also the boyfriend of a very angry girl. Liam had missed 2 of emmas calls and she was now home shouting at him saying he cared more about books than her. And before she could shout at me I left.

Honestly, how is Liam putting up with her....
