I had been in my room for only 10 minutes crying my heart out when I heard a knock.
"Mia sweety, open the door. It's not your fault. Come out."It was mom. I opened the door and upon seeing her I couldn't help but hug her "it's all my fault. I shouldn't have ever come. And I thought Liam was always with you guys so I shamed him for not knowing Italian. I'm sorry Mom" I broke down in tears. Then mom and I were eyes to eye and mom gently wiped my tears and said "Mia it's not your fault. You had no idea. And anyways....." she stopped. "Did you just call me mom?" It wasn't till she said that I realized it. I had called her mom. And without even thinking to do so. "Sì. But I think I will go to sleep right now mom."
