Chapter 38: Kiss Me

*Soleil's Point of View*

"How much do I really know you, Jae?"

I sighed and buried my face in the pillow to muffle my scream. Hindi ako makahinga, kaya bumangon ako at tumitig sa dingding ng hotel room ko.

"So stupid," I scolded myself, shaking my head as the memory of last night flashed in my mind.

"What do you mean? You know me better than anyone else."

"Do I? I don't think so."

I left after saying that and I was mad. Alam kong alam niya na galit ako, pero hindi niya alam anong dahilan ng galit ko. However, when I woke up this morning, I realized just how dumb and bitchy I was towards him. AND FOR AN INVALID REASON!

He didn't deserve to be treated like that and most importantly, I am not entitled to knowing everything that is going on with his life. Kung ano man ang naging issue nila as a band, wala na akong kinalaman doon. Wala rin ako sa posisyon para maggalit-galitan.

"Gosh, you're so stupid," I mumbled, walking towards the bathroom.

In my defense, I was a bit flustered after that conversation with Samantha last night. I was shocked, okay? Alam ko namang hindi ko kailangan malaman lahat lahat tungkol kay Jaden dahil lang magkaibigan kami. It was the chismosa in me that made me say what I said to him. Or was it? 

"You know what," I told myself in the bathroom mirror. "It doesn't matter. Just don't do it again."

I grabbed my phone and typed a message for Jaden saying 'hello'. I sent the same to Kevin who responded as soon as the message was sent. Hindi ko napigilang ngumiti lalo na at sinundan kaagad ito ng isa pang mensahe.

'Can't wait to see you, pretty.'

"Simp," sambit ko habang nakangiting nagtatype. We chatted for a while bago ako sinundo ng isang staff sa hotel room ko. Ngayong araw ang music video shoot para sa anniversary music video ng TS at naka-setup na ang lahat nang dumating kami sa site.

I have learned how recording a music video is a tedious job for both the production team and the artists. Pero para sa music video na ito, hindi man lang ako nakaramdam ng pagod o hirap. Instead, I was having fun working with all these fantastic people.

"Just have fun together," ang sabi ng direktor sa kalagitnaan ng filming. At iyon nga ang ginawa ng bawat isa sa amin kaya naging mas nakakatuwa ang trabaho.

"To this day, being surrounded by this many celebrities still amazes me," komento ni Claire habang nagpapahinga kami sa lilim ng isang canopy.

I just smiled in agreement to her statement. Kung si Claire na ilang taon na sa industriya ay namamangha pa rin, kumusta naman ako na pinakabago sa lahat ng nandito ngayon? I can't help feeling starstruck each time I brush past any of them. Minsan din ay hindi ako makapaniwalang ang ilan sa mga ito ay close friends ko.

"Pero that aside, nakikita mo ba ang dagat?" tanong ni Claire kaya binaling ko sa kaniya ang tingin ko. Nakasilip ito sa taas ng suot niyang sunglasses. "Swimming tayo after!"

Nagkibit-balikat si Soleil. "I don't know. Pwede ba nating i-swimming ang costumes?"

Tinignan ni Claire ang suot kong rashguard.

"Sure ako may shoot tayo sa water, kaya pwede naman siguro."

I just nodded at muli naming pinanood ang ma kapwa artista na nasa gilid ng dagat at nagshoshoot. Bigla akong na-conscious nang mapansin kong naka-bikini ang lahat maliban sa akin at kay Tricia Gomez. I don't regret it but I was worried that I would look humble in comparison. Even Claire is a stunner in her two-piece.
