Anastasia's POV
"Jill? Are you good?"

"Don't worry about me! Worry about you! You have part of a stop sign in your stomach!"

"I-I do?"

I looked down. I saw a metal stand sticking out of my stomach. After I noticed it, I was in pain. I put my hands on it so I could pull it out.

"No! Don't do that! It'll only hurt you more!"

I gulped. I felt around me to find my phone. Jillian found hers first. She dialed those three numbers. When I finally got mine, I called my brother. Then I called Malakai.

*Phone Call with Malakai*
"Mal?"

"Hey. Is everything okay? You never call this late."

"I-I got into a car accident. More like a wreck actually."

"What?! Are you okay?! Where are you?! I'll come get you!"

"I'm not okay. I'm hurt pretty badly. The car's upside down. I hear sirens. I-I love you."

"I love you too! Don't hang up!"

*End of Phone Call*
I woke up in an ambulance.

"What's going on?"

"You're in an ambulance. You're on your way to the hospital. You were in a car wreck."

"T-that actually happened? I-it wasn't a dream? Where's my cousin?"

I felt someone holding my right hand.

"I'm right here. My arm and leg are most likely fractured they said."

"T-this is all my fault. I-I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault."

"I-I'm the r-reason we were in the car."

"Ana don't think like that. Oh uh. I have your phone. Malakai keeps texting you."

"Did you say anything back?"

"I told him that you were unconscious. I can tell him you're awake if you want."

My eyes started getting heavy.

"D-don't bother. I-I can't stay awake."

I felt my body bouncing after the stretcher was taken out of the ambulance.

"ANA!"

Colty?

I opened my eyes. My brother was running towards me. I put my arm out. He grabbed my hand.

"You're gonna be okay! I-I love you! Y-you're gonna be okay!"

"I love you too."

"I called Mal. He's on his way."

I smiled.

"We gotta get her to surgery. You can't come with us."

I was ripped away from my brother. I put my arm back down. My ears started ringing.

"Colt! Where is she?"

"She's on that stretcher. She's going to surgery right now. Nobody's allowed to go with her."

"I-I just missed her?" Malakai said as his voice cracked.

I'm sorry Kai...

I love you...

I'm sorry I hid the baby from you.

I should've told you.

It doesn't matter now.

My eyes shut again. I heard everything going on. I opened my eyes and saw an unfamiliar celling. I looked around. I saw my brother and Malakai outside of my hospital room. They were talking to a doctor.

"We were able to save both of the babies."

"Huh?"

"Did you just say "Babies"?"

"Yes. You didn't know?"

"No."

"This is the first time, I'm hearing about it."

"Okay don't fuckin kill me. We were being safe, I swear!"

"I honestly don't give a shit. You make her happy so....we're good for now."

"How many babies?"

"Two."

"So twins?"

"Yes."

"We don't have twins in my family."

Malakai laughed nervously.

"I do. Me and my sister Marionette are twins."

"Oh yeah. That's right."

I stood up. I fell right away.

"Ana!"

Colton and Malakai ran into my hospital room.

"What're you doing?"

Malakai picked me up. He put me back on the hospital bed.

"I-I wanted to see you guys,"

"You could've called for us."

I wrapped my arms around Malakai's neck.

"I'm sorry.."

"Why?"

"I didn't tell you or Colty."

"About what? Being pregnant?"

"Mhm."

"It's fine."

"My body is killing me."

"You're on bedrest."

"You're not supposed to be doing anything on your own."

"H-how's Jill?"

"She's doing okay. I talked to her about an hour ago. I've gotta go to work. You two okay here?"

"Yeah. We'll be fine."
