Marionette's POV
I ran to the game room. My parents were on the floor. I got on the floor and started hugging my mom.

"Breathe baby. Breathe."

"Dad go talk to Mal. I've got her."

"Primy look at me."

He cupped her face and pressed their foreheads together.

"I love you. I love you. It's okay. I am not mad at you. How long ago did this happen?"

"L-last month a-at his birthday party."

My dad exhaled. He started wiping tears away. He kissed her forehead then stood up. She grabbed his arms.

"NO! DON'T LEAVE ME!"

He just looked at her.

"I KNOW YOU! IF YOU LEAVE, YOU'LL END UP IN CUFFS! I CANNOT LOSE YOU! NYXY PLEASE!"

He looked down. He had a look, I hadn't seen in a while. He wasn't pissed. He looked....depressed."

"I wasn't going to kill him. I was just going to yell at him."

"Don't do that! H-he'll lie to you! H-he's gonna tell you, I cheated on you!"

He sat down in front of her.

"You seriously think, I'd believe him?"

"H-he's your brother."

"And you're my wife." He said as he moved hair out of her face.

"I'd NEVER listen to that prick."

She sniffled.

"I trust you, more than I trust him. I thought, you knew that?"

"I-I'm not saying I doubt it.....I-I'm just saying...I'm scared. I'm scared that'll change." She said as her voice cracked.

"Love....that'll never change."

Should I still be here?

I started rubbing her back.

"I-I feel sick."

"You're overwhelmed. This happens to me."

She started holding her stomach.

"No no no!"

She grabbed the box and ran away. I heard her throw up.

"What do we do?"

My dad shrugged.

"Looks like I'm calling Alexia."

"You're serious about not going after him?"

"Yeah. I can't risk it."

"But dad..."

"I'm not like that anymore. I don't use my fists anymore."

"I know but-"

"Marionette drop it. It's over and done with."

"Wait. One last thing. Then I'll drop it."

"Ugh. Fine."

"What if...she ends up pregnant?"

"She's got options. I think with this, she'll regret any choice she makes. We just gotta support her and be there for her. That's all we can do, I think."

He walked away. I stood up.

I fucking hate Axel.

I walked out of the game room. Raven and Novalyn were in my room playing with Simba on the floor.

"I heard yelling. Something bad happen?"

"Yeah. I'm not gonna say anything."

I laid down on my bed.

"Hey babe?"

"Hm?"

"If I were to...oh I dunno. Kill someone...would you help me hide the body?"

He stopped and just looked at me.

"So is that a "No"?"

"W-wha-what?"

"It's just a rhetorical question."

"A very incriminating rhetorical question."

I shrugged.

"Still...would you do it?"

"I-I'm not answering that."

I heard a bang. I got up and ran out of my room. My dad ran past me. Malakai was following him. I grabbed his arm before he ran past.

"What's wrong?"

"Aunt Lexie is here. She brought Aria to distract Rocky. Mom's not pregnant."

"Okay. Is dad about to murder someone?"

"Eh. I can tell, he's holding back. You know how he is."

"What was that noise I heard?"

"Dad threw the watch Axel got him, across the room."

"W-where's mom?"

"In a ball on her bed."

"She's by herself?!"

"No! God no! Roxie's with her! Dad's not dumb!"

"S-sorry. I panicked."

"It's fine. I freaked out too. Hey uh...wanna go hide a body?"

"Ya know...I was just talking to Ven about that."

My dad and aunt walked past me and Malakai.

"I'm uh...going to hide in my room with Ana."

Malakai walked away. I shut my bedroom door.

Mommy...

I'm sorry, I can't help more.

When I turned around, I saw Novalyn sleeping on the floor while hugging Simba. I walked back over to my bed. I laid down on it. Raven laid down next to me.

"Please don't make me talk about it."

"I wasn't going to. Do you need a hug?"

I nodded. He held his arms out. I got into his arms. He wrapped them around me. I wrapped my arms around his neck. I started crying into his ear. He started rubbing my back.

"Are you sure, you don't wanna talk about it?"

"My uncle...is a goddamn traitor. T-that's all I'm saying."

"Alright. That's fine. That's fine. I'm right here. I'm right here."
