Chapter 13

Marionette's POV
Raven put me on my bed.

"What's wrong?!"

I sat up. I saw my sister.

"Hey Roxie."

She ran up to me and jumped onto my bed. She started hugging me. I cried into her shoulder. I felt someone rubbing my back.

"You're okay. He won't get you." My sister said.

"Y-you heard the whole thing?"

"Mhm. Sorry. I should've walked away."

I shook my head.

"I-it's okay."

"Okay what the FUCK is going on?! Why is she crying?! What did you do?!"

"Nothing! Sophie showed up! Her brother's out on parole!"

"WHAT?!"

I picked my head. Malakai was running towards me.

"I'm scared!"

"Shhh. Relax. It's gonna be okay."

"Kai the night terrors are gonna come back! I-I can't have those again!"

"I know. I still have them too. Amy really fucked me up."

I sniffled.

"Don't say her name. She's not worth talking about."

"Who?"

"Me and MJ's biological person. She's just a piece of shit. Prim's our mom. Zed I wanna talk to you."

Raven stood up.

"D-don't go!"

"We'll be right back."

The boys walked away. I fell backwards onto my bed. Roxana didn't let me go. She started holding me tighter.

"I'm so fuckin scared Rocky! I-I'm scared he'll get you!"

"Don't do that to yourself."

"I'm the oldest! I'm supposed to protect you and Mally!"

Raven's POV
"So she just...said this? After you pulled it outta her?"

"Yeah. What the fuck am I supposed to do? Have you met the guy?"

"No! Nobody knew about me until after that!"

"What should we do?"

"Ummm. Why is Onyx downstairs talking to Sophie?"

I looked over my shoulder and saw Primrose.

"Hey mom. Paul's out."

Her eyes widened.

"O-oh god!"

"Just so you know, I'm not going anywhere."

Marionette ran over to me. She was shaking. A year later Marionette was still scared. One day...I woke up and she wasn't next to me. I ran around looking for her.

"MJ?! MARIONETTE?!"

"What's wrong?"

"I-I can't find Mari!"

"What?!"

"I-I went to sleep with her next to me a-and now she's gone!"

We filed a missing person report.

"S-she wouldn't run away! S-she's not like that!"

"She stays inside all day! She's scared to be outside!"

I broke down. Malakai started hugging me.

"I'm sorry dude! I-I'm so fucking sorry!"
