Your pov 

It was another beautiful day in the office, or well, the warehouse, and I had a new project for my boss, and my girlfriend's dad… yea, im doomed.

Me:*walking up to him*"you wanted to see me sir"

Roman:*turns to me*"yes, neo came back with the last thing we needed for your project, you better hope it works, or i'll make you regret it myself"

Me:"yes sir"

He threw the last piece to me, which was a generator that I needed to add to the project to even turn it on. I caught it with ease as it wasn't that big and I'm a great catch.

Me:"was there anything else sir"

Roman:"yes, when are you and neo breaking up"

Me:"... never, sir, why?

Roman:"because I don't like the idea of her dating but I don't want to force her to break up with you because she's so damn happy with you and that annoys me"

Me:"...thank you?"

Roman:"get out"

Me:"yes sir"

With that I quickly make my way to my work corner. I had a quarter of the warehouse specifically for my work, since I was both their only engineer and the scientist, I got special perks. One of the perks was I got a quarter of any place we hid in for my work area, my desk usually being in the corner. I went back to my desk and turned my chair to sit, but found my beautiful girlfriend there instead.

Me:"well hello there beautiful, to what do I owe the pleasure"

Neo:[I just got back from a mission for your project, so I thought why not… and I missed you]

Me:[I missed you too]

She smiles and gets out of my seat before coming closer to me and getting on her tippy-toes, silently asking for a kiss. I smiled and leaned down to kiss her, since I was much taller than her, I'm 6'6 after all.

Neo:*breaking the kiss*[I love you]

Me:[I love you too]

I kissed her head before going to sit in my chair, her sitting on my lap shortly after, I didn't mind since she would do this often. I then quickly got started on adding the generator to our project. Now you may be wondering, "what exactly is the project?" And to that I answer, a cloaking device, for you see, I am smart. I found out that if you used gravity, ice, and fire crystal all at the same time, you create a force field in that area. Anything within that area becomes invisible to the naked eye, you'd need enhanced faunus traits to even know someone was there. As such, my mission is to make this a more controlled thing that will wrap around the body and-

Neo:*poking my cheek*

Me:"yes?"

Neo:[you're spacing out again, why]

Me:"revising the mission in my head"

Neo:[boring]

Me:"well it's not like anyone will know if I do it in my head, nobody reads the large bodys of text in fanfic"

Neo:[...what?]

Me:"I said nobody here reads minds so it's better to do it in my head"
