It was a hot day for beacon, one of the hottest so far, in fact I had to take my suit coat off so now I'm only in my dress shirt and dress pants, and I abandoned my tie too. Right now I'm teaching my last class of the day on weapons when one of my students raises their hand

Me:"yes miss xiao long, I hope your question is about the lesson and not a pun again"

Yang:"well, it's not a pun, but it's not about the lesson, its hot, can we please open a window or something"

Me:*sigh*"fine, you open the left side i'll open the right"

She nods and goes to the left while I go to the right and we start opening the windows. As we are doing so, Glynda walks by, and as forgetting about my class I call out to her while learning on the windowsill.

Me:"well hello there Glynda, what has you out and about this hot spring day"

Glynda:*smiles and walks closer*"oh you know, the usual,"

Me/Glynda:"ozpin, hehe"

Glynda:"now what are you doing here, if I recall correctly, you have a class right now"

Me:"I do?*I stand up quickly, remembering my class, and hit my head on the window*ow, I-i mean I do, I um, yes, class, well, they um, wanted to open the windows because it's hot, so…"

Glynda:"heh, well you better get back to them, *jokingly*or I'll report you to ozpin"

Me:"you would never"

Glynda:"want to test that theory"

Me:"alright, alright, see you when I see ya"

Glynda:"good day y/n"

She leaves and I watch lovingly as she does while sitting on the windowsill. Me and her were friends in our student years, she kept me out of trouble and I got us into it. Some people say it's a wonder how we became friends with us being such polar opposites, but I don't care, to be honest, I want to be more than friends with her.

Me:*feeling stares, looks to see my whole class gaining and giggling to themselves*"...what"

Ruby:"you like her"

Me:"no I don't*they stare more intense at me*... *blushes and looks away*I love her, there's a difference"

Yang:"I knew it, pay up jaune"

Jaune:*hands her 20 lien*"oh man"

I continued my lesson as usual, not knowing what those kids had planned for me, and boy was it something.
