3rd Person's POV

Days passed after Khun Vegas's discharge from the hospital. During those days he wasn't involved in any business transactions of the family which was unusual as he handles most of the complicated ones. The reason being was because he was advised by the doctor to watch over what he eats, refrain from any stressing, and physical activities.

Until a month passed by and Khun Vegas was starting to gain the strength he had before he was captured. He mostly spent his days working out, sparring sessions, gun practices and many more. More like he's preparing for something big, as of now he is seldomly asked by his father to handle transactions.

Khun Korn and Khun Kan is quietly adjusting the business transactions of the family. One by one they handle matters that would give them possible trouble in the future while also preparing if ever the Italian mafias come.

The Theerapanyakul's have been very alert ever since the incident on the minor family's house. There are eyes everywhere on the lookout for any suspicious figures.

Vegas's POV

Today we were all asked by Uncle Korn to attend a general meeting. Everyone including all of the bodyguards. This maybe very important to even include the lowest ranking member of the family.

Me, Macau, and father went to the main mansion together with our bodyguards. Only the ones who are not really needed were left to guard the house.

~AT THE MAIN FAMILY'S HOUSE~

We made our entrance towards the main door. The hall was full of bodyguards. Some of them I don't recognize, did they recruit new ones? I've just been away for like a month or two and the change is already huge?

Everyone bowed to us in respect except the new ones. They might have not yet finished their training. I gave them a piercing stare.

"Bow your heads! Pay respects to the minor family." Oh this one's Ken? But isn't he supposed to be with Kinn right now? He must be assigned to train them.

Some of the newbies bowed. But some don't. Ohh I know this look...this is like the "why should we bow to them? They are not our master. They are just the second family. We serve the first family so we are higher than them" look.

I took a step forward to one of those disrespectful bastards.

[Slap] [Punch in the stomach]

This will give them a hint on who has the authority here.

"Why don't you bow? Don't you guys respect the minor family?" I asked with a cold face.

While I was asking them. Someone grabbed the head of the new bodyguard I just slapped and punched. That person made the new bodyguard bow down to me.

It was Pete.

"I'm sorry Khun Vegas ...they are just new and arrogant.. they are still in the process of training..please forgive them on being disrespectful." He said politely while also bowing to me.

Hmmm...

"Hia..father has been looking for you..why are you still there?" I was called by Macau. They already went ahead without me earlier. They might not have really paid attention to their surroundings....maybe that's why they didn't notice the new bodyguards being disrespectful to us.

"Haaa...train them properly Pete..or else you might have to look for a new batch again. Recruiting them is hard these days. Even I get a headache." I said as he looked up to me. I smiled at him. And looked at the newbies with cold eyes.
