Chapter 31: One Last Time

"You look stunning" Yuta let out a breath as he pulled Taeyong in for a kiss. "Is this why you called me? To show me how pretty you look?" 

Taeyong shyly nodded as he gestured them to enter and close the door.

"How do I look?" Taeyong asked Yuta as he showed off his outfit. 

"You look absolutely gorgeous" Yuta said in awe, softly caressing Taeyong's cheeks.

Jaehyun stood from afar as he watched the exchange take place. He was also mesmerized by how striking Taeyong looked and just gazed at him. 

"I still can't believe that this is happening" Yuta lightly laughed and looked up. "It's like a dream come true"

" I feel the same way too" Taeyong beamed.

Yuta's smile grew wider as he pulled Taeyong in for a kiss. 

"I have to go now baby. I still have to greet my friends and do some finishing makeup touches" Yuta pouted. 

Taeyong nodded as Yuta walked to the door and glanced at Jaehyun. "Are you coming dad?"

"Can you give me some time with Taeyong?" Jaehyun asked "I just want to have a small talk with him. You know, pep talk"

"Ah sure sure" Yuta nodded. "See you then and see you later baby" 

The closing of the door echoed in the room as Jaehyun walked towards it and locked it. He turned around and saw Taeyong looking at him with his wide doe eyes. 

Jaehyun got closer to Taeyong and tucked a strand of hair behind Taeyong's ear as he whispered:

"You look beautiful" 

Jaehyun smiled as he softly rubbed Taeyong's ears. 

Taeyong didn't know what happened. 

He didn't even remember it.

One second Jaehyun was complimenting him and the next, he just felt all his feelings break loose as he started sobbing. His face scrunched up as tears started streaming down his cheeks.

"Jaehyun..." Taeyong sobbed as he held his arm out for a hug. 

Jaehyun swiftly pulled Taeyong in and hugged him tight, rubbing his back comfortingly. 

"Shh don't cry Taeyongie. Don't cry." Jaehyun's voice wavered.
