Jaehyun snuggled behind Taeyong on the bed as he softly inhaled the leftover freesia scent from last night. Taeyong's head laid on his shoulder as they listened to the soft music playing on the laptop, hand entwined as he gently rubbed Taeyong's.
Jaehyun never asked for much. He was a grateful person who knew how to live life with what he had.
But there are things he wanted too.
And this was everything that Jaehyun had ever wanted in his life. A loving partner who would stay with him. That was all he wanted.
But he never got it.
He never got to experience the cuddles and kisses couples do, he never got to experience the feeling of cooking for a loved one and seeing them happily enjoying it, he never got to experience the feeling of waking up and seeing the love of his life sleeping soundly beside him, and he never had a person to find comfort in when he was at his lowest.
He never had any of those.
Jaehyun thought that university would be just another stage in his life that he had to pass and never thought that it would change his life forever. Meeting a girl that just came into his life and messing it all up like a hurricane wasn't what Jaehyun was expecting. He knew he should have been more careful with her but he was still young and naïve. At the same time, if that didn't happen he would have never had his precious boy Yuta. Jaehyun being an empathetic person he was, volunteered to take care of the child. He tried his best to make the girl stay too and told her that everything will work out.
He even begged for her to come back.
But she never did. She left him all alone
Jaehyun waited.... waited and.... waited
But she never came
From that day on, Jaehyun felt the spark in his heart let out its last dying light as it darkened. He thought that there would never be anyone that could light up his heart like it did ever again.
Until he met Taeyong.
Taeyong relit the ashes in his heart and made it burn like a raging fire. He made Jaehyun feel loved, safe, happy and just like his old self again.
He made Jaehyun feel... alive.
