Chapter 20: Spree

"I have so much to tell you" Yuta's excited voice echoed in the room as Taeyong smiled at his phone screen. "First of all, everything looks straight out of an anime, look" Yuta flipped his camera as he pointed at a river bank lined with sakura flowers. 

"Woahh" Taeyong awed at the view as he listened to Yuta explaining how he ate so many different Japanese cuisines. 

"The sushi tasted phenomenal, the noodle was delicious, the mochi was so soft and so delicate and I loved the matcha ice-cream"

Taeyong giggled and nodded. " I'm glad that you're enjoying Japan. On another note, I miss you so muchhh"

"I miss you too bbangie. How are you? How have you been doing?"

"I'm doing fine. Work has been sailing smoothly. Also, I just baked a cake with your dad last two days ago!"

"That's great" Yuta exclaimed. " I mean, you have to get closer to your future father in law of course"

"Yeaaaa" Taeyong smiled. 

"Oh I have to go back to work right now. We're currently on a company tour and stopped by here to rest. Gotta go Bbangie. Love you and byeee"

"Bye Yuta and love you too" Taeyong waved as Yuta ended the call.

Taeyong sighed and lied down on his bed, letting the mid-morning sun bathe over him. Jaehyun had been busy with work for three days straight and Taeyong hadn't had a chance to meet up with him yet.

9 days

Only 9 more days before Yuta comes back. 9 more days before he sees Yuta. 9 more days before this stops with Jaehyun. Taeyong didn't know whether to feel sad or glad. Yuta was coming back, but at the same time, when he did come back, the chances of him spending time like this with Jaehyun would diminish. Most likely gone. Forever.

He scrolled through Yuta's Instagram profile as he double tapped and commented on each of the photos that he posted, smiling at the cute captions as some were directed to him. Just as he was about to close his phone, a notification rang as a messaged popped up. 

Jaehyun: Hey, I'll be arriving to your house in 30 minutes. Get ready for a shopping trip.

Taeyong furrowed his eyebrows when he saw the text and sat up.
