"I need to use the bathroom" Taeyong mumbled as he stood up to excuse himself.

He quickly ran into the bathroom and slammed it shut, clutching the edge of the sink to calm himself down. He glanced up as he saw his own reaction, face with a hue of pink and eyes with a tinge of red. He looked like a mess right now.

After the altruistic apology that Yuta made for him the day before, he had invited Taeyong to also come over to try his cooking that he had been practicing. Taeyong was hesitant about it at first due to obvious reasons but Yuta's defeatedly sad tone was enough for him to accept it. So there he was in the toilet minutes after he arrived to Yuta's.

Taeyong wasn't ready for this. He didn't even expect himself to act this way.

He had just hugged Yuta and given him a quick kiss on the lips with sweet pleasantries being exchanged when he turned around and saw Jaehyun coming down the stairs. Taeyong felt like time slowed down by a fraction when Jaehyun's eyes met with his. He felt his breath hitch and all the nerves in his body sending red alerts all over. Jaehyun's face faltered for a second too before he quickly recollected himself and spoke.

"Taeyong...

It's good to see you again"

And that was how Taeyong ended up in the bathroom trying not to breakdown and hyperventilate. The scent of lemon deodorizer turned his stomach sour while the sound of footsteps echoed in his ears. He heard knocks on the door as Yuta's voice tuned in.

"Are you alright?" Yuta's muffled voice came from the other side.

Taeyong quickly thought of an excuse

"Yea I'm okay. I just had too much cheese this morning"

He could hear Yuta's faint chuckle.

"Alright. Well if you're done, come downstairs. I've already prepped the dinner"

"Ok" Taeyong groaned as he took a deep breath.

He didn't want to ruin this. Not especially today. Taeyong gulped all his fear down and washed his hands. He slowly made his way down the stairs as the smell of bacon made him shudder.

He did love bacon. He loved them alot but it wasn't the right moment for it to make his mouth water. In fact, the smell of it made him feel queasy. He took a deep breath as he scuttled towards Yuta setting down the plates.

"Do you feel better now?" Yuta asked as he ruffled Taeyong's hair.

Taeyong nodded as he signed an ok sign.

"I hope you are because you're gonna love this"

His eyes lit up as he saw the dishes on the table. Although Yuta's cooking wasn't as refined as Jaehyun's, he did manage to make simple but delicious dishes. There were crispy bacon slices, sautéed chicken and mash potatoes along with a meat loaf.
