Taeyong couldn't sleep the whole night as he tossed and turned on the floor of Yuta's bedroom. The sinful act he did with Jaehyun tormented him all night until he couldn't take it anymore. He felt like he was controlled by strings of guilts upon every actions he did.

Taeyong quickly packed his bags at the crack of dawn and left a written message on Yuta's table saying that he had an emergency work meeting and slowly creeped his way downstairs. He prayed and prayed that he wouldn't meet Jaehyun on his way out as he slowly cracked the front door open.

The dim morning rays peeked behind the thick blanket of clouds as a soft breeze brushed against his hair. Walking on the soft grass, Taeyong hastily made his way down the road and onto the pavement. There were a few people jogging around and a few store owners opening their shops while he passed by them. As Taeyong was walking, he felt a pair of eyes boring holes onto him and out of instinct he just turned around impulsively.

But he wish he hadn't.

Because standing up on top of the balcony was Jaehyun with an expressionless look on his face. Taeyong felt a cold tingle down his whole body when his eyes met with Jaehyun's piercing ones. His breathing halted as he could feel panic washing over him. Taeyong immediately turned away and started running as his footsteps echoed throughout the street. He could hear his heartbeat drumming in his ear as adrenaline rushed through his vein.

Taeyong only stopped to catch his breath when he felt like he was far away from Jaehyun. Leaning down against a wall, he clutched his thighs and tried to calm his pounding heart down. He mentally cursed himself at the cowardly act as he sighed.

He couldn't understand why Jaehyun had so much effect on him.

It had been a week since the immoral act he had pursued with Jaehyun and Taeyong had avoided both Yuta and him like the plague. Taeyong would reply to Yuta's texts and his calls but his manner was rigid and insincere. He also denied any form of physical interactions with Yuta and would just hole up in his house doing his web designing work.

Buzz Buzz

Taeyong saw Yuta's text glaring on his phone screen as a notification rang. He hesitantly picked it up and checked what the message was.

Yubu💕: Hey Bbang, I'm grabbing some snacks and coming by your house around 2 in the afternoon. I'm not taking anymore excuses from you Taeyong. I know you're home too. Please let me in 🥺😖

Taeyong sighed as he closed his phone. He couldn't bring himself to tell Yuta that he's not the reason why he's avoiding him. Well partially, but the guilt still hung like an anchor that dragged him down whenever he tried to talk with Yuta. Taeyong just defeatedly texted an 'ok' and waited for Yuta to arrive.
