Entering the wedding room, he looked around in awe as everything was decorated in pure white from the ornaments hanging from the ceiling to the white satin covering the seats and tables. He brushed his hand against the soft satin and a sad smile formed on his lips, knowing that he would never get to experience the feeling of walking down with his loved one down the aisle.
He walked pass the hallway and greeted each guests with handshakes and smiles, occasionally joining in for a toast. After he had done his regards, he made his way to the back and to the preparation room of the groom. Taking a deep breath, he knocked on the door as he heard footsteps accompanied by the door swinging open.
"Dad!" Yuta's cheery voice exclaimed as his face lit up.
"Hey Yuta" Jaehyun smiled, closing the door from behind. "Sorry for being late, the traffic was terrible"
"It's fine" Yuta grinned. "We still have half an hour before the ceremony starts"
"You look so good" Jaehyun beamed and hugged him. " My handsome boy, I can't believe that my baby is all grown up now"
"Daddd" Yuta groaned. "You look good too and how come you look younger than me?"
"Stop lying" Jaehyun laughed, holding Yuta's cheek. "I'm so proud of you"
Yuta shyly nodded. "Thanks Dad"
"I just came here to say a few words before you become someone else's" Jaehyun hugged Yuta and rubbed his back. "I hope you have a wonderful marriage and many years of happiness ahead of you"
Jaehyun took a deep breath. "Treat Taeyong well and live in harmony with him. You know that I have never experienced this nor will I ever get to attend my own wedding in my life but..
I want you to go out there and live the life that I missed out on. Don't hold back. Don't make regrets. Live life to the fullest and make it all worth it."
Jaehyun pulled away as he kissed Yuta on the forehead.
" Mr. Jung Yuta" A voice piped up from the door. "Taeyong wants to see you"
"I'll be there" Yuta nodded and turned towards Jaehyun. "Do you wanna follow?"
"Sure. I've got to meet my son-in-law right?"
Yuta led the way as Jaehyun followed from behind. His heart beat paced up when they got closer to Taeyong's room and he nervously fidgeted with the bouquet in his hand. Yuta knocked on the door and just a few seconds later, it opened.
"Yuta-" Taeyong abruptly stopped when he saw Jaehyun behind Yuta.
