After showering, eating lunch, and going through a few other things on your to do list for the day, it was time to prepare for the awards ceremony. You sat by your vanity doing your makeup while Sebastian went through your closet.

"I will say, darling, you really have an array of items in here. Have you even worn half of them?"

You scoffed a bit, dragging a mascara wand through your lashes. "Probably not. After Grell insisted he be my personal stylist, he's just been buying me more and more stuff that I don't even know what to do with."

The mention of the red-haired reapers name caused your butlers brows to furrow. "I do wish you two would not keep such a...friendly relationship." He pulled out a shimmery green floor length dress.

It was true you and Grell had grown quite close. 'Besties' as you called it. He reminded you a lot of Mable. How outgoing they were and their ability to be brutally honest; in the best way of course. You looked at Sebastian's choice in the mirror and scrunched up your face.

"No."

"And here I thought you liked everything he has bought you." He replied confidently with a smile, almost happy that you said no to the dress. "It seems he does have poor taste."

"He didn't buy that for me, you did. On my birthday last year."

The black-haired butler paused as he was about to put the dress back in your closet. He took a quick glance at it, before clearing his throat and putting it back. "I see. So you just do not prefer my choices."

You couldn't help but smile. Thankfully, he had done what you asked of him and did not bring up the incident from this morning. You couldn't explain it even if you wanted to. Well, you could, but not without sounding absolutely mad. Regardless, it didn't matter. It wouldn't happen again. You refused to let those horrible experiences traumatize you anymore.

"Well, enough of that. Are you excited about this event tonight, my Lady?" Sebastian pulled out a satin ,black, deep V-neck dress this time, turning to you for approval.

You glanced at him and nodded at his choice before dabbing on a deep red lipstick to your lips. "Yeah, I guess so. I get to network, have a few drinks, meet this scientist lady. Should be fun."

"I am glad to hear it."

After taking one last look at yourself in the vanity mirror, you stood up and slid off your robe, wearing a black thong with no bra underneath. Turning to him, you watched closely to see if he would look at your bare breasts openly. Sadly, he didn't. What a tease, per usual.

Your butler helped slip your feet into the dress and seamlessly glided it up your body, slipping your arms through the small straps. You both were silent through this process. Your half-lidded eye met with his for a moment as he stood straight.

"Turn around for me, please." Your demon asked so politely.

You obliged and turned your back to him. His free hand slid to the back of your neck, and swept your curled hair to one side. It made goosebumps rise on your skin. His hands then moved to the dress's zipper and he took great care zipping it all the way up. You pressed your lips together as he then knelt down by your feet, slipping his hand underneath the long skirt and taking the black heeled sandals in hand.

"Left foot, please."

You did as he said, lifting your foot and placing it into the shoe so he could clasp it around your ankle. He did the same with your right foot. It made you feel bad, honestly. Not telling him what was wrong with you. You didn't really have to tell him though. He already knew to some extent. Perhaps your inability to be open with your feelings to your guardian angel had something to do with it.
