Today was a day when I got home late. I had spent the rest of the day at Elena's house, both she and Jeremy were shaken up after the funeral.
Nobody can judge them.
When it got later I decided to leave, it had been a few days since I had set foot in my house.
I close the door behind me before looking towards the switch. The living room light comes on giving the view of my empty house. I take involuntary steps as I look around, it was just as I'd left it.
I walk over to the couch, sitting down with a weary sigh.
It's been a long day, in fact it's been a long week.
I stare at the wall for a few minutes thoughtfully before reaching for my purse. I pull out my dad's diary that had been glued to me since the day I found him.
So much has happened since then.
Today I had a better understanding of my father's words but there were things I still don't understand.
There was one part of the diary in particular that left me confused. Turning two pages from where my mother wrote the prediction about Klaus there was something that disturbed me. I didn't focus much on that because apparently it's already been resolved but now that I knew my mate's identity, I intend to delve into other things in my father's diary.
It has many accounts of my childhood about things I didn't know or remember. Things my parents thought better of not telling me to preserve my innocence.
