My bones were propelling themselves to an excruciating creak. I shivered feeling my bones wanting to break to follow a new form.

This feeling is not new to me, the pain of transformation is something I learned to deal with a long time ago, but it was always something fast. My hybrid nature allows my transformation to be fast, after which a new sensation would come.

Freedom.

The best thing the wolf made available to me.

My everyday life can often bring me a certain mental fatigue and the transformations were a way to escape reality. I didn't think about anything, I just ran, ran and ran. I didn't have a goal, just run.

It brought me some comfort.

But comfort was the last thing I was feeling right now.

I don't know what that preserved mummy made me drink but I fell my bones corrode painfully. It felt like my bones were touching and rubbing against each other repeatedly.
