I used to think of the moon as a big dull rock hanging out in space, slowly drifting away from Earth. When I was in grade 5, I learned that the moon was moving away at about 1.5 inches per year. However, that doesn't even catch my interest. I'd rather play mobile games with Christian than worry about the moon's existence. 

But now, as I look out the window of this car, I see that rock again. I couldn't help but to look. After meeting Seline, who loves that particular big circle in the sky, I started to see it differently. I caught myself constantly looking for it and then, suddenly, that thing began to be something meaningful to me. 

"So it's crescent today." I couldn't help but utter it to myself.

Seline was like a moon to me. She happens to be someone I've known ever since. However, I didn't particularly like her at first. I saw her back then as my schoolmate with whom I would compete for the title of Valedictorian. Back then, I was a bit competitive in all things.

But she was more than that right now. Seline began to be someone who I needed to live with. She's a friend, a lover, and the best family I could ever ask for. She's my everything. She's that particular piece that completes me like a moon to the earth.

But then, just like the moon too, part of her is always hidden away. And maybe that part of her that I couldn't see is what I am going to see now as I move along.

"Seline loves the moon too."

Nabaling ang tingin ko kay Christian nang sabihin niya iyon. Well, we're childhood friend back then. Ilang bloc lang ang layo ng bahay nila sa amin at palagi kaming magkalaro noong mga bata pa kami. Pero malimit kaming nagkokompetensya sa lahat ng mga bagay. And maybe, that's the start of our part ways.

"I love her more." Walang pikit na ani ko.

"I don't ask!"

"Tss! Para saan ba iyang shades mo? Tanggalin mo nga, gabi na oh!" Medyo nakakailang na ring tingnan siya nang nakaganon. Ano bang trip niya?

"Bakit kapag may araw lang ba pwedeng mag-shades?"

"Nagda-drive ka kaya!"

"Nakikita ko pa rin naman."

"Fine! Do what you want." Bumuntong hininga na lang ako at mas pinagkatutukan ng pansin ang biyahe.

To think that he wasn't hesitated to tell me something about Kalopsia therefore I conclude that he has this plan to keep my Theia safe.

"So..."

With that one word I know Christian gets my point. We have this kind of connection with each other that in just one glance we understand each other. We were really that close, but not until Seline came. 

"I plan to recruit you as Intelligence of Kalopsia." I frowned with what he just said. "Our team is looking for new members. We are out of personnel."

Is this fucktard for real?

"And what made you think that I'll agree with such thing?" Mabilis ang pagpapatakbo ni Christian pero nagawa niya pa rin akong lingunin. This scumbag is really something. 

"It's our last asset to save Seline and me." Doon na mas lalong nangunot ang noo ko.

Seline and him? Why?

"As of now, I know Kalopsia is hunting me down too by linking information about Kalopsia to you. You are a civilian and it's forbidden. That is why the only thing that could save Seline and me was to drag you to our world." Pinilit kong iproseso ng mabilis sa isip ko ang mga sinasabi niya. Kailangan kong maunawaan iyon sa pinakamabilis kong magagawa. Kung ang pagpasok sa mundong ito ang paraan para maprotektahan ko ang aking pamilya. Bakit hindi? If this will save my bride I will do anything. She's part of my soon to be family I can do anything for her.
