Johara's POV
The day passed on normally and I barely remembered what has happened a few hours before.
I called sara and informed her that we will be going for dinner tonight.
"let's go for dinner tonight!"
"gladly"
"be ready by 6:30 at starhigh restaurant, we need to be done my 8pm ok?" I honestly hated it but a part of me feared from Idrees's authoritative tone
"8pm? So early?"
"yeah actually uncle is home alone"
"who uncle?"
"Idrees's father obviously"
"idrees is the man you married, right?"
"yeah and don't remind me that I am married to him" all I can do is roll my eyes
"the name is charming"
"ok whatever, just be ready outside my office at 6:30pm ok?"
Sara cut the call.

It was 6:15pm and I felt excited to finally have a proper dinner after a long time.
I packed up my things and made my way to the gate in front of the parking lot where sara would come to pick me up.
I was scrolling down my instagram when suddenly, a car horn made me jump.
"assalamualaikum johara" it was freaking idrees!!
"what are you doing here?"
"I came to pick you up" he shrugged
"but I didn't call you" I was unknowingly pointing at my phone
"you don't have to call me because it's my duty that I take care of you" he smirked
"will you please shut up?" I was angry now "I know how to take care of myself. I wasn't dying before you forcefully came into my life" I said stressing the word 'forcefully'
"when I got to know that I am going to marry you, I was dying"
"whatttt!!!??" is he trying to flirt with me? Who does he think he is!
"hey" I did not even realize that sara was here
"hey" I responded to sara and turned to idrees "my friend's here now, I'll go with her. Stop irritating me now idrees"
"umm what's he telling?" sara asked
"aren't you that same girl from the mall?" idrees questioned sara
"yeah I am"
"he was telling that he'll drop me to the restaurant but now that you are here let's go" I said to sara as she asked me what he was telling.
