Chapter 38: thirty eighth sandcastle

A movie was watched by Sunoo and Ni-ki. A romance movie, to be precise. Hands were held and a body was laid on the other's chest.

"With Sunoo on my chest, my heart is so filled! I need to confess by tomorrow morning, or else it would be too late I did." Ni-ki's thoughts lingered.

"Ni-ki do you remember the time when we both first connected through the your display of defensive nature towards Hwangjun?" Sunoo recollected.

"Yes, of course. Joonyoung was one of my best friends back them in middle school. He ditched me for apparently being friends with Jungwon." Ni-ki told him.

"It was very observable. I'm sorry if I couldn't recognise you when I asked for your name. You had black hair before and pretty much looked contrasting compared to the blonde guy with a sharp jawline who seemed hot yet tempting." Sunoo smiled and blushed out hard saying hot. Ni-ki felt a boost in his self confidence by hearing out his handsomeness by the guy he was attracted by the most.

"It's okay. I knew you, for your friendship with Jungwon was very evident." Ni-ki said.

"We were not in the same class before. Now we are since we share almost the same subjects." Sunoo told making Ni-ki nod.

"This house has signifies a dollop to me. It was my old house. I lived there for my first sixteen years." Sunoo spoke.

"It might recollect and resemble you a lot of memories you faced." Ni-ki tried to relate it to him.

"Yes." Sunoo said.

Treat you better

The day continued by splashes of water. Evening had commenced. They both landed themselves, frolicking on the beach where they truly found themselves in,making sandcastles and splashing at each other. Soaking legs inside the sand and feeling the pleasure of it, swimming themselves in the crystalline sea. Waves thundered with the tranquility of  frigid breezes.

"Cheese!" Ni-ki exclaimed too click a photo of his and Sunoo's. They clicked multiple more selfies and solo pics of each other.

Sunoo went further to get his bag. He contemplated of gifting him that letter along with a seashell necklace he made it back during his childhood day.

He hesitated again. "I'm having so much fun. Why ruin the fun. You can do it when the fun ends, at a serious moment. Give him the necklace for the remembrance right now." He thought.

He got that necklace and applied it to him when he came closer. Ni-ki blushed and peered at him, thanking him.

"How did you make it though? It looks so sick though." Ni-ki doubted.

"I made this during my heydeys. They were the awesomest!You can keep it as a memory of the two of us." He smiled.

"I wish this lasts forever." Ni-ki said, while he held Sunoo's hand, fidgeting with it.

"Me too." Sunoo related when they peered at the aesthetic sky along with the streaming waves.

Ni-ki took a ruby ring from his pocket and fitted that onto Sunoo's ring finger. Right after he peered down, his heart skipped a beat. "Aww! That's so mesmerising of you Ni-ki! Thank you so much." He awed.

"No problem Ddeonu." He caressed his cheeks.

"Sheesh I love him so much. I might just burst open and tell him how much of a precious person he is." That's when Sunoo knew he fell in love.

Ni-ki got his speaker and blasted some music. They were all love songs since both of them were so in love with each other.

"Have you dated anybody else?" Ni-ki asked. Sunoo shook his head in denial. "No. I was almost about to. Her name was Kim Dayeon. She liked me back. Jungwon told me about that, and I couldn't respond to that. Anyways I've moved on and she doesn't talk much to ke anymore." He answered.

Ni-ki smiled and asked, "You know, it is okay to love someone else?"

Sunoo blinked his eyes and agreed to what he said.

"I liked jay." Ni-ki said. "It was quiet obvious. He's attractive indeed." Sunoo chuckled. "Huh? What do you mean?" He asked.

"At the first day, you glared at Jungwon who u ignored and not at Jay. This proved that you were jealous." Sunoo explained his analysation.

"Anyways Jay already has Jungwon and there is no chance for you." Sunoo stuck out his tongue.

"Can't you see how he likes you back." Those words uttered by Konon replayed Ni-ki's mind right after he saw Sunoo disgusted. "He likes me back! I shall confess." Ni-ki finally came to decision.

"Not like I like him anymore. He's just a bro to me now." Ni-ki said and wrapped his arms around Sunoo.

"Aww. Why are you so charming Ni-ki?" Sunoo asked. "For you." He winked back. Sunoo moved away, embarrassed.

Treat you better

Along with munching ordered dinner on the table, the two chattered almost themselves. "Mmm manduk is so tasty." Sunoo said. "Agreeable." Ni-ki replied to the context he uttered.

"So we're going to stargaze, right?" Ni-ki asked.

"No, making out." Sunoo chuckled.

And that made Ni-ki feel obvious.
