Chapter 22: I'm in Love

"Hey do you have a sec? I want to use the bathroom"

"Yea sure. I'll be waiting for you here"

"No, I want you to come with me" 

"For what?" Taeyong tilted his head in confusion. 

"Just come" Jaehyun held Taeyong's hand as he sneakily made his way out of the group with Taeyong and hid behind a corner.

He waited for the group to pass by and grabbed Taeyong's hand as they skidded across the slippery marble floor. Footsteps echoing in the hall as lights reflected off the glimmering chandeliers above.

"Jaehyun? Where are we going?" Taeyong nervously looked around as his shoes squeaked under the tiles.

"Somewhere we can be alone"  

Taeyong started feeling woozy as blood rushed through his body. He was just having a calm tour and suddenly he was running across the museum like a thief that stole something. The renaissance paintings on the wall became blurry as the colors blended into each other and created a symphony of one huge painting with streaks of different shades and hues travelling through each path. 

They passed by each historical sections and turned around every familiar corner until Jaehyun led him into a strange new passage with a golden gate at the end.

"Do you remember when I told you that some sections only open at night?" Jaehyun stopped infront of a huge gate as he glanced at Taeyong. 

Taeyong nodded and leaned against the gate to catch his breath.

"Well this is one of them" Jaehyun swung the gate open as the cool night air rushed into the museum hall. 

Taeyong had never encountered such surprises and unexpected stuffs until Jaehyun came into his life. 

He had always had a normal life and was too scared to take any risks.

 But with Jaehyun? It was a wild card. It was like diving into the ocean and not knowing whether there was a way out or if he was going to sink with the waves.

For the moment, everytime Tayeong held his breath and dove into the ocean, there had always been a way out.

"It's stunning" Taeyong stared at the maze in awe as he stepped onto the soft grass.
