Chapter 22: I'm in Love

"Oohh Romeo and Juliet -esque?" Taeyong wiggled his eyebrows.

"Mhmm no no. Romeo and Juliet is them. I want this to be us" Jaehyun smiled "I want it to be Romeo and... Paris"

"Weren't Romeo and Paris rivals? You know to get Juliet?"

"They are" Jaehyun nodded "But that is them and this us. We can rewrite our own story. Romeo and Paris. A love story that never happened"

"Why are you so romantic and thoughtful" Taeyong giggled, try to suppress his shyness.

"I do it only with people I care for" Jaehyun winked "Now let's go"

Jaehyun stared at Taeyong as he locked the gate and slowly made his way. The sun had just set and the milky moon made everything seem shimmery. The house, the gate, the lawn and especially Taeyong.

He couldn't take his eyes of Taeyong. He looked beautiful. The black swaying hair, the sparkling eyes, the scrunched up nose and the cute smile. Everything looked beautiful. Jaehyun only snapped out of it when Taeyong opened the car door and sat down.

The museum wasn't that far as they arrived at the parking lot in 10 minutes. Jaehyun handed the tickets to the guard at the entrance and stepped in to see all the magnificent artifacts displayed in glass cases. Taeyong looked around in awe too as the vibe of the museum totally changed during nighttime. They casually lined up with all the other people as the guide started the tour.

All along the tour, Taeyong was thoroughly amused and enjoyed by everything he saw. History had always been an interesting subject for him. Nodding in pleasure he glanced at Jaehyun to catch him secretly yawning.

"Are you bored?" Taeyong whispered, nudging Jaehyun's shoulder.

"Mhmm no" Jaehyun yawned again as he tried to stifle it with his hand.

"You look like you are" Taeyong squinted his eyes.

"I'm just tired because I worked late last night bub"

To be honest, Jaehyun was a bit bored but he wasn't going to admit it. Especially not infront of Taeyong who was thoroughly enjoying it.

He kept it to himself and followed the tour around until he realized something more fun that they could do. He looked around to see if anyway was looking at them and leaned in towards Taeyong when no one was.
