y/n was the new driver for Prema Racing in the 2021 Formula 2 season. She was the only female in the driver line-up, so she had a lot of pressure on her part. She would get comments, and be looked down upon for being a female in a "man's sport", but...
I was growing bored as I stared at the tv, not really focusing on it. I sighed out as I turned it off, getting up from the couch. My phone pinged as I was walking upstairs, making me groan. I took it out, seeing a text from Liam? 'Hey y/n. The boys are all gathering in Monaco for a little vacation. We wanted to see if you want to join us?' It read, making me think. I walked to my room, falling on the bed. 'Sure. When will you guys be here? And where?' I sent, throwing the phone beside me. As soon as I threw it, it pinged again. I rolled on my stomach, grabbing it again. 'Probably by tomorrow. We are staying in Hotel de Paris, and we will be chilling on the beach for the first day. Then we can explore and stuff.' He replied, making me hum out. 'Then I'll see ya then.' I replied, getting a thumbs up.
I got off the bed, going to my closet. I tried picking something nice, but also something I will be comfortable in. I choice my black high-waisted bathing suit, along with a simple romper. After I chose those, I grabbed my mini-backpack, throwing in a towel, some extra clothes, and hygiene stuff. I threw all the stuff on the bathroom counter, leaving it for tomorrow. I completely forgot to ask Liam who was all coming, but I guess I would just wait to see.

As I threw myself back on the couch, I decided to call Arthur. I laid down on the couch, propping my phone up. It was around 10 pm right now, but I didn't care. The connecting sound was all I heard, making me smile. "y/n, is everything okay? I can take a flight home right now. I would be there by-" He rambled on, but I giggled. "I just wanted to hear your voice, Arthur. I'm fine." I said, sighing as I laid my head down. He sighed as well, getting back in bed. "Sorry. I'm just not used to you not going with us." He mumbled, frowning slightly. "We will see each other in weeks time." I said, giving a lazy smile. "If anything, the boys are coming down to Monaco for a couple days. They asked me to hang out with them." I said, hoping it would reassure him.
He was a bit skeptical about me hanging with all boys, but I reassured him that I'd be hanging with Liam, so he chilled out. I eventually made my way to the room, it now being around midnight. I plugged my phone in, and laid it against the pillow. "Night Arthur." I mumbled, hearing him shift around. "Goodnight y/n." He replied softly, smiling softly at the camera. I gave him a soft smile as well, turning on my back to stare at the wall. I hummed out to 'To Build A Home', singing some lines quietly. I turned to my phone, seeing Arthur sleeping now. I smiled at him softly, turning back to the ceiling. "You have an angelic voice." I heard Charles say, making me smile more. "Goodnight Charles." I said, turning on my side again. "Night,*bolle." He said, hanging the phone up. I set my phone on the table, turning the lights off and drifting to sleep.
I sat up quickly, rubbing my eyes. I heard the phone ringing, making me groan. I turned to it, seeing the number I dreaded most. I decided to just answer, not caring. "What do you want?" I asked coldly, hearing him chuckle. "Oh little y/n. Miss me?" He asked in his stupid annoying voice. "No." I said, hanging up. I laid back down, making sure to block his number. I stared at the ceiling again, humming to myself to fall asleep. I sighed as it wasn't really working. It was like 3am right now, making me groan. I decided to just text Liam, seeing if he got here safely. 'Bello. Have you landed safely?' I sent, getting up and heading downstairs. 'Yea. Just hanging out on my balcony. Kinda bored. Why you up?' He replied, making me laugh. 'Nightmares, and exes.' I replied. He sent a laughing emoji, making me smile. 'We have to be up in like 4 hours, so try to get some sleep.' He said, with me sending a thumbs up. I laid back in bed, drifting off after listening to Arthur's goodnight message from two days ago.
