But Jaehyun stood there smiling like a fool, still feeling Taeyong's soft lips on his cheeks. He only snapped out of it when the elevator doors started to close and frantically clicked on the button. The elevator door reopened as he saw Taeyong laughing, clutching his sides and smiled at the scenario. He swiftly stepped out and casually walked towards Taeyong, hiding his smile to stop embarrassing himself more.
The diner was only a few minutes away as Jaehyun chose the window seat for him and Taeyong.
"So what do you want to eat?" Jaehyun asked, flipping through the menu "I'm going to have the waffle pancakes with bananas"
"I'm thinking of eating something light like maybe Greek yogurt with berries?"
"Good choice" Jaehyun smiled as he called a waiter to order. It only took a few minutes before both the cold Greek yogurt and the steaming pancake waffles were delivered to them as Taeyong watched them with sparkly eyes.
He took a spoonful of his yogurt as the cool sourness spread through his tongue along with the popping of sweet berries to cut through the sour creaminess. He took another spoonful and stopped when he noticed that Jaehyun was staring at him.
"Mhmm?" Taeyong asked with a mouthful of yogurt.
"Nothing" Jaehyun chuckled, cutting a strip of his waffles "You just looked so happy when you were eating the yougurt"
Jaehyun nodded gleefully at the comment "It tastes great. Do you wanna try it?"
"Yea sure" Jaehyun said as Taeyong scooped up a spoon with extra berries for Jaehyun. Leaning forward, Jaehyun took a bite of it and smiled as he took a mental note.
"It's delicious" Jaehyun nodded in agreement.
They finished off the breakfast, chatting and having fun as Jaehyun paid for the meal even though Taeyong insisted not to.
"I told you that I will pay for it" Taeyong huffed as he put his card back into his wallet. "You're always the one treating me"
"Well get ready for more because I'm treating you the whole day today" Jaehyun smiled while patting Taeyong's hair.
Taeyong whined but it turned into a giggle. Jaehyun just looked too happy for him to be mad at.
"Come on then" Taeyong smiled as he gave Jaehyun's hand a tug. "Let's go"
"Let's go" Jaehyun smiled, holding out his hands as Taeyong grabbed in and gave it a gentle squeeze.
