Chapter 20: Spree

Wait like today? Are you really fine with it? I mean if you have work then it's ok too. You don't have to leave work just for me: Taeyong

Jaehyun: It's ok, Taeil's in charge for today. Besides, I feel bad for not giving you time these days.

Aww it's ok Hyunnie. Kk then. I'll go get ready. See ya: Taeyong

Taeyong quickly hopped into shower and cleaned himself up as he tried to think of an outfit to wear. He didn't want to look too simple but he also didn't want to look like he was trying too hard. He finally came to a conclusion after he dried himself up and decided to wear black jeans, white shirt and a dark blue button up. He sprayed his freesia perfume and grabbed a navy blue fanny pack to seal the dark blue aesthetic look. 

Waiting at the front porch, he excitedly hopped in when he saw Jaehyun pulling up. Taeyong took a deep breath as he inhaled the pleasant pinewood scent and smiled. 

"You look good in that outfit" Jaehyun complimented, nodding at his navy blue look. 

"Thanks. You look great too" Taeyong pointed at the simple black tee and jeans Jaehyun was wearing. The more casual outfit made Jaehyun appear younger as the youthful fashion toned his features down. He looked like he could be the same age as Yuta. 

"So which mall are we going to?"

"Oh it's just this new mall that recently opened. I was thinking of going there before but I was busy so I decided to try it out today with you"

"Is it far?"

"Well it's near the outskirt of the town but it's worth it. I've heard people complimenting the outdoor jungle they have"

"Outdoor jungle??"

"Yepp that's why I wanted to check it out" Jaehyun said with an eager smile on his smile. 

After driving for half an hour, Taeyong noticed a green gate with palm trees as Jaehyun swerved into it and that's when it struck Taeyong. The whole front of the mall was filled with dark green foliage, sunlight dappling canopies and cobblestone paths where one lead to a wooden bridge that was above a stream flowing to a pond filled with koi fish and an abundant lily pads. Taeyong could hear the calm trickling of the water as birds chirped all over. 

"Woahh" Taeyong exclaimed as he looked around in awe. He felt like he was deep into the jungle as all he could see was a plethora of floras. They passed by the jungle as they eventually arrived to the parking lot.
