Chapter 3

I arrived at school and went straight to our classroom.

Good morning Sunny. My bestfriend Athena greeted me.
Good morning too. I greeted her back.
Ano best ready ka na? She asked me.
Yeah! I have no choice naman. Its my responsibility to do it so even if I am not ready I must be. I said. Malapit na kc ang  foundation day kase ng School at need ko mag organize ng program because I am the Student Supreme Council President. Nageenjoy naman ako sa mga duties ko as SSC President but lately kase medyo busy na sa academics now na 3rd year na ako at patapos na ang last semester namin at nagreready na kame para sa internship namin so medyo hussle for me ang mag organize ng program at the same time.
Kaya mo yan best. You're good at managing your time. Even ako din naman medyo busy kase ako ang representative ng department natin so I need to help also. She is right about that. Parehas kameng busy at need na gawin yung responsibility namin as SSC Officers.
May meeting tayo mamaya wag mong kalimutan. Pagpapaalala ko kay athena. Medyo makakalimutin kase yan lalo na ngayon at madami kameng inaasikaso para sa internship namin.
Yeah! Alam ko at sabay naman tayong pupunta sa SSC Office kaya remind mo na lang ulit ako mamaya okay? Kita nyo makakalimutin talaga.
No problem. Tumahimik na din kame pagkatapos nun kase dumating na din yung professor namin.

Time skip lunch time

Tara best lunch na tayo. Pagaya ko kay Athena. Tumango lang sya at dumerecho na kame sa cafeteria para kumain.

While eating

Meron kana bang naaplyan sa mga companies na binigay saatin para sa internship?Athena asked me. May binigay kase saaming list ng mga companies na pwede naming pasukan bilang intern na matagal ng may connection ang school para daw madali pa din  kameng mabantayan.
Balak kong kausapin si dean mamaya pagkatapos natin mag lunch kung pwede sa company namin and I can accommodate other students to join with me. Balak ko kase na sa company mag internship para na din mas makabisado ko yung trabaho dun. I have talked to tito about it and he agreed so yung approval na lang ng dean ang need ko.
Isama mo ako dyan best ah! Para sabay na lang tayo at hindi na ako maghahanap ng iba. Plano ko naman talaga syang isama.
Of course best pero saatin lang muna to at dipende pa din if papayag si dean. Hindi kase alam ng ibang tao na ang family namin ang owner except kay Athena.Sana talaga pumayag siya kase ayaw ko din na mag intern ako sa ibang company tapos ako ang soon to be owner ng company namin.
Thank you! She said and we continued eating.

Skip time done eating

Best una kana sa next subject natin puntahan ko muna si dean. We have an hour pa naman before our first subject in the afternoon.
Sige. See you later. We separate ways at dumeretcho na ako sa faculty office ni dean.

"Knock... Knock... Knock" I knocked the door three times before opening the door. Good afternoon po dean. I greeted him as I get inside his office.
Good afternoon Ms. Villanueva. What brings you here? Have a seat. Mabait naman si dean kaso medyo may pagka strikto pagdating sa requirements namin.
Thank you po. I said as I sat down. Ahhm... I would ask you po sana if I could have my internship at sunny corp. I asked nervously
Sunny corp?
The top business corporation here in the philippines? He asked directly. Mukhang nagugulat ata siya
Yes sir. Sunny corp. po. Sagot ko sa kanya.
Ms. Villanueva, I already gave you the options of the companies that you can apply for your internship. Sunny corp. is a great company but we don't have any connections to that company. He said to me.
I already talked to their ceo and he said its okay for them to accept interns. I explained to him.
You talked to the Ceo? He shockingly asked. Hindi sya makapaniwala na kinausap ko yung Ceo.
Yes sir. He also said that other students can apply too. They are willing to accept interns as long as they are qualified sir. Sana pumayag na siya.
Then if that's the case I will allow you to have your internship there but we don't have any connections to that company. We can't monitor you there. Hindi kase basta basta nagkakaron ng connection sa company lalo na pag schools pwera na lang if business partners.
No problem with that sir. I will give you the contact informations of the company and for sure they will accommodate you sir just tell then the name of our school. Strict kase ang school namin kaya ayaw ni dean na magkaaberya pagdating sa internship kase siya yung mapapagalitan.
Ok then we are settled. Salamat naman.
Thank you po sir. I'll go ahead po my class pa po ako. Malapit na yung next class ko.
Bye the way miss villanueva how did you have connections with Sunny corp.?He asked me. Sabi ko na itatanong niya yan kase mahirap makakakuha ng connection sa company namin.
Family connections po sir. I replied to him and he just nodded. Cge po sir I'll go ahead. Hindi na siya sumagot kaya lumabas na ako para dumerecho sa class ko.

Time skip after class

After ng class ko we went straight sa SSC Office and kame na lang pala ni athena ang hinihintay.

Good afternoon to all of you. Sorry kakatapos lang kase ng class namin. We just discussed what are we going to do para sa foundation day.
Ms. Pres. Kakanta po ba kayo? One of them asked me. Yeah! Kumakanta kase ako. Way ko na din to express myself since konti lang yung mga taong close ko. Parati nila akong pinapakanta everytime may event sa school.
Actually... I don't know. I am really busy right now. I don't know if I could prepare a song para sa event. Hindi ko kase sigurado kase baka hindi ako makapagready ng kanta dahil sobrang busy sa academics and sa preparations ng foundation day.
The event here would not be complete without you singing. One of them commented.
You know that students and visitors always look forward for you to sing sa events ng school Ms. Pres. Sabi naman ni athena. Kita mo to nakisali pa, alam naman niya na busy kame pero tama naman siya parati ngang inaabangan ng tao na kumanta ako.
I'll make time to prepare maybe 1 or 2 songs para sa event. Nag sigawan yung iba ng yes at yung iba ngapalakpakan. Umiling na lang ako. Is there any other concerns abut the event?. Pagtatanong ko sa kanila.
Nothing more ms. President. Athena replied.
So if that the case, see you around for the preparations. Thank you. I said and nagsimula na kameng lumabas sa office.
