Scarlett sat on the floor, the same way she had been for the past few hours. She picked one piece of her hair out at a time, just out of pure boredom. Her head stung because, well, she'd been repeating this action for two straight hours, making a small pile next to her on her bedroom floor. The only thing keeping her company.

The opening and shutting of her front door made it apparent that someone was in the house. As fancy shoes thudded their way up the steps towards her bedroom, she was more sure than ever that it was Brendon.
Scarlett didn't know whether to be relieved or worried about this, but she was at least glad that she was no longer alone.
The footsteps stopped right outside of her bedroom door, only mere inches from where she was sitting against the cool wooden floor.
Knuckles tapped abruptly above her, against the frame.

"Scarlett." he demanded.
"Yes."
She heard her doorknob begin to twist and turn. It moved around awkwardly as profanities were spat from the opposite side of the door. Brendon was having a hard time untying the rope, Scarlett presumed, as her door handle continued to jiggle violently.
At last, it opened, and hit against Scarlett's back, but not enough to ensue pain.
Brendon peeked his eyes curiously behind the door and looked at her with his eyebrow raised.

"Why are you sitting on the ground?" She just shrugged, and swept her small pile of hair away boredly.
Brendon stepped fully into the room and closed the door behind him. Once he turned the lock, his gaze fell upon Scarlett and she peered up into his gleaming eyes. A familiar hint of something more, within them.

"C'mon, get up." Brendon said sternly, gripping her forearm tightly and pulling her into a standing position.
It was hard to do so, as her legs tingled beneath her. She had been sitting on the floor for at least three hours, and her legs were significantly asleep.

"Brendon why did you do this to me?" she asked quietly, regaining her standing abilities. His face grew hard, and he looked at her with a scowl.
"Because you needed to learn your lesson." he said simply.
"As I've told you before, you're not the one that makes the rules. I am."

He took a step closer, bringing his mouth closer to her ear. He placed a kiss directly below her ear, and trailed down her neck hungrily.
He finally stopped at her collar bone and looked up to her eyes.
"Don't you see baby, I love you," he said running his hands from her ribs to her hip bones.
-I DON'T LOVE YOU!
she wanted to say.

A dull, severe pain exploded in my stomach as Brendon slammed his fist against it. A breathless groan escaped my lips, and my body curled upward at the impact. His expression was vile as I wheezed and gasped for air.
I wanted so badly to fight back, to get Brendon away from me, and never see him again, but I knew I couldn't.
He didn't wait for my answer as he pinned my shoulders down, and brought his lips to mine.
His kiss was sloppy and needy, trying drown out my grunts of pain with as much passion and effective as he could emit.
I hated every moment.
When he realized I wasn't kissing him back he dug his fingers roughly into my shoulder until I did what was expected of me.

How was I going to get out of this?
