"Aki---" Haruno tried to interject, but the azure-haired boy silenced him with a stern look.

"Please... that's my final wish. And I trust 'ya, Haru."

Haruno could only look at his friend with sympathetic eyes as he slowly stood up from his seat. Akito's long hair obscured his face, but Haru knew the gravity of the situation. He nodded solemnly, standing up to approach his friend.

"Aki..." His voice resonated with emotions. "I'll promise you, your story will never be forgotten as long as I'm alive--! So please! May you be able to rest peacefully!"

This momentary exchange caught the attention of the class, momentarily diverting their focus from their studies.

Akito, still with his face obscured by his hair, nodded in acknowledgment. "Thank you, bro." With those words, he began his walk towards what seemed to be his inevitable fate, leaving Haruno to watch him leave.

"...You have lived a great life, Matsumuri Akito." As the door closed behind Akito, Haruno couldn't help but murmur to himself.

"Dude... he was just called up, not going for war---" Riku, a classmate, attempted to bring some humor to the situation. Only to be shushed up.

"Shhh! You're ruining the atmosphere, Riku--!"

"But---"

"RIKUUU!!!"ㅤ

Closing the door with a heavy heart, he finally faced the man who was ready to kill him at the moment--- just kidding.

Akito stood before his two volleyball teammates with a blank look on his face. His hands were as cold as ice, and he could feel cold sweats drenching the back of his shirt. Despite appearing calm on the outside, he was anything but calm inside.

NOT. AT. ALL.

Daichi was smiling menacingly at the moment, with silence enveloping them both---three, he meant, he almost forgot that Suga was also here.

The silence was too much, despite him loving it. It was now scaring the hell out of him!!!!

So Akito broke the spine-chilling silence. And for once, he thought that it was the most DUMB thing he had ever done in his entire life—he meant it, and now he was going to die.

GIVE ME STRENGTH, ASAHI.

"So, ya' see abo---"

"At the gym. EXACTLY at 5, you'll do two times practice drills as a punishment," Daichi said in a sharp and low voice, Akito can almost hear him growling.

And it sent shivers down his spine.

Not that type you're thinking of, of course. Evil and dirty thoughts be gone.

Now, now. Akito doesn't have any kinks or anything like punishments from daddy shits or kinds of stuff — just fear and nervousness about the hell he would go through this entire training camp, that's all. Nothing more and nothing less, and let's be open-minded here because Aki's mind was not kind of open right now.

He doesn't even know what he's saying.

"Hai."

Thus, the storm had finally left. Akito felt his legs going jelly, but he knew no one was going to catch him when he fall, so he just exhaled loudly out of relief.
