13. "Kings?!

CHAPTER 13

Gazeing at the photo on my phone screen,they really looked so peaceful in their sleep.
Almost like they have known each other for a while.
Running a thumb on my phone screen.As if feeling on her soft skin
Taking in her features.
Maybe this is the only time i can touch and stare at her for as long as i want to without worrying about being caught .
She really is an angel.
Earlier on in the morning,when i went to ckeck on Cece,she was not in her room,feeling her bed,it was cold,meaning she had not spend the night in her room.
Weirdly,i did not get woried,as my feet started towards my room where Ms.Kings is.
There they were,cuddling and were so dip in their sleep.
I could not help but smile at the sight infront of me.
Walking further in to the room,i managed to steal a quick snap shot of them.

A soft knock brings me out of my daze
"Breakfast is ready sir,i alrady set the table,i will ask them to join you" Bella says as she peep her head into my library door.I quickly turn my phone screen off and set it on my laptop before replying to her.
"No,its fine,i will take it from there,Thank you Bella."
"I will be in the kitchen then if you need anything,excuse me" she says,retrieving her head and shutting the door close.
Approaching the room,i hear Cece's giggles and murmuring.They must be awake.
Taking in a minute at the door to eavesdrop at their conversation.

"Can we visit with my dad then at the weekend?that way we can eat as many fruits as we can,and we can also get to know Mrs.Rossa." i hear Cece ask.

"You are always welcomed,you can always visit anytime."

"Thank you Ms.Fairy."

"You know what time it is?" I hear Ms.Kings say before Cece starts to giggle.Slowly pushing the door oppen,She was busy,tickling Cece.

"Daddy!" Cece shouts in excitement when she sees me,getting up from the bed and hurry towards me before she cling on my neck as i hold her to an embrace."Ms.Fairy invited me to Mrs.Rossa's fruit shop,can we go on the weekends?"

"We will see about that later on,Breakfast is ready Princess" i tell her before pecking her cheek.

"Will Ms.Fairy also be joining us for breakfast daddy?"

"She is welcomed..."

I say Looking over at Ms.Kings.She is looking anywhere but us,Scrunching her face,as if her mind suddenly wondered off and was now in deep thoughts,i dont know,i am not sure.

I want to talk to her,i want her to vauchsafe in me but i am not her friend.
Help i am not even anywhere near that.
To her,i am the mean boss who sent her boyfriend to jail.

"Miss.Kings" she lifts her head up looking directly towards me."Breakfast is ready".

"Thank you,i will be there in five."

"Thank you,We will be there in five dad" i almost laugh at Cece's attempt in mimicking Miss.Kings chuckling lightly at that.

Waiting for ten minutes at the dining table,Cece run downs the stairs towards me panic written all over her face.

"Daddy,Miss.Fairy is not feeling well."

"Why?What happened?" i ask her but more to myself.

After sending Cece to Bella for an ice pack,i seat on the bed i lift Ms.Kings right foot and gently place it on my lap.There is swelling and bruising arround her ankle.

She wince in pain but at the same time try to retrieve her foot.
"Let me" i tell her,as Cece and Bella walk in.Bella hands me a cold pack
"Is she going to be ok dad?"
