CHAPTER 12

Suyodhanaa was waiting for Karnika to come. She impatiently tapped her foot, soon Karnika came, Suyodhanaa looked at her excitedly but her smile vanished not seeing Sagar with her.

"Where is Rajkumar Sagar ?" Suyodhanaa asked.

"He denied to come." Karnika said.

"But why ?" Suyodhanaa frowned.

"I told him that you demand his presence, and he said you yourself should come to him because it is you who wants to talk not him." Karnika said.

"Who does he think he is !?" Suyodhanaa exclaimed.

"I know. Why would the eldest daughter of Kuru-samrat Dhritrashtra, future queen of Hastinapur come to him ? Too much ego he has." Karnika said.

"Doesn't he know that it's the man who makes the first move !?" Suyodhanaa said.

"It's because of Parthvi and the Panduputris Suyodhanaa. Because of them it seems he doesn't want to make any move to you." Karnika said.

"I shall take care of Panduputris later. Let's go now." Suyodhanaa said.

She stomped away as Karnika followed her behind. On the other side both Sagar and Vallabhi were enjoying food and each other's company, as he laughed at her jokes.

"And then I thought to the beat the hell out of Suyodhanaa, I would've only gotten disqualified from Rangbhoomi." Vallabhi said.

"Oh god...." Sagar laughed.

Seeing him laugh Vallabhi couldn't help but smile. It was as if she had found a new purpose on life, to give him all the joy in the world so keeps laughing and smiling.

"Sagar ! Sagar !" Aditi called from the other side.

"What ?" Sagar asked.

"Come here." Aditi called. He sighed getting up.

"Let's go." Vallabhi chuckled.

They both went to where Aditi, Nakulaa and Devami were shopping.

"What's the matter ?" Sagar asked.

"I am unable to decide what garment will look good on Rajkumari Nakulaa, she looks beautiful in everything." Aditi said.

"Stop flattering me now. And help me choose." Nakulaa said.

"I am unable to, Sagar you say what suits her the most." Aditi said.

A red tint appeared on Nakulaa's face as Sagar looked at the two garments and then back at her, deciding which will look good.

"I think this red one will look best next to her rich dark complete. This beauty of this garment will be enhanced if Rajkumari Nakulaa wears it." Sagar said.

This caused Nakulaa to blush even more as Vallabhi couldn't help but smile dreamily at him. Devami on the other hand was impressed, but she then diverted her gaze.

"Then I shall buy the red one." Nakulaa said.

"Great." Sagar said and payed the shop keeper.

"Rajkumar ! Why did you pay ?" Nakulaa asked.

"It was my duty." Sagar smiled.

"It's totally fine Rajkumari Nakulaa, now let's go back to palace." Aditi said.
