The night was quiet, dark, and cold. The wind blew with just enough force to dry your tears as you continued to shed them, each of your footsteps making a faint patting sound on the pavement. To your left, the vast ocean waters could be seen, only separated from you by a sea-wall. The ocean seemed to extend out into an infinite abyss, blending with the dark night sky.

Alone, and in an isolated area, you walked, not knowing whether you were finding solace, or just growing numb as your thoughts continued to destroy you.
