I treasured every moment

Because you were sweet on me.

I treasured every moment

My eyes were closed; I couldn’t see.

I remember every moment

As if it were yesterday.

I remember every moment

Though now those memories are far away.

I numb every moment

For what you caused is pain.

I numb every moment

I guess I should have realized because your name rhymes with vain.

I hated every moment

When I’d realized what you’d done.

I hated every moment

Because to you I was no more than “harmless fun”.

I relish all those moments

Because they taught me right from wrong.

I guess I should have realized

You were a jerk all along.
