When I come out, their eyes focus on me.

"Sam," Gina rushes to me.

"Don't," I hold up my hands.

I don't want sympathy.

"Fine, I'll be in the car." She stamps out.

James frowns and heads out.

When they are out of sight,

"How did it go?" Tracy asks.

"O-key, I guess."

"You let him out?" Xavier asks.

"I don't know, I just said...things," I reply, and he scoffs.

Xavier has been holding-in his feelings. Guess that makes the both of us.

"Well, just know, whatever happens, we are here for you." Tracy puts her hand around my shoulder and pushes me closer to her.

I still can't believe she's talking to me, after what I did to her. Maybe this is the punishment I have to pay for betraying her.

"They are, I'm not," Daniel says and bounces out.

Tracy smiles and follows up behind him.

"Love you." Lucian kisses my cheeks.

"Love you too." I force a smile, and he walks out.

I turn to Xavier. His face consorts with dissatisfaction. We stare at each other for a couple of seconds.

"What?" I throw my hands.

"You tell me," he says.

"I can't do this." I stride further.

"You can't hold onto it forever!" He strides after me

I emerge outside, stamping to the parking lot.

"Sam!" He yells.

"What?!" I turn to him with wide arms.
"What do you want me to do? Cry my eyes out?! Lock him up?! Nor of it is going to change anything," I shout.

"What he did -"

"I'm very aware of what he did, more than you know. But you have a problem."

"I have a problem?" His finger at his chest.

"Yes, what is it? Xavier, you can talk to me."

He licks his bottom lips and sighs.

"He has a girlfriend, while he was screwing you, there was someone else."

This reels me backward.

"What?" My voice is small.

"Yeah, it's Aneesa."

My head spins again, and my pain increases. I thought I had reached the utmost pain, and I just feel the growth, how is it even possible?

"Since when have you known?" I ask.

He inhales.

"Early that morning."

"You've known this whole time?"

I can not believe Xavier would keep this from me. A part of me wanted to believe that he cared, even for a second. But it's worst that he was using me as well...he's the monster.

"Sam I..." He comes closer, but I fall back.

I bolt to my mom's car and pop into the passenger sits.

MORGAN.

The look in her eyes is sore, injured.

I'm not expecting her to let me go, I'm just expecting her forgiveness.
