Mia's POV *3 Days Later*

"Austin!" I yelled throughout the house.

"Downstairs" he yelled back in response. I lifted Carter up and onto my side before I left out of the room to descend the staircase.

Carter was occupied because he was playing with my hair while I held him. He kept kicking his feet back and forth the entire time while he twisted his little fingers around in my hair.

I got to the bottom of the stairs and glanced around, but I still didn't see him anywhere. I walked over and went into the kitchen to see him sitting on the counter top.

"Hey babe" he said looking up from his phone for a quick second before returning his attention to it.

"Hey" I responded "Hannah wants to know if Ally could stay the night so her and Robert can have some time to their selves"

"I don't mind" he said and I rolled my lips into my mouth.

"Alright, so what do you want to do today?" I asked.

"Yeah" he responded typing on his phone.

"Give me the phone" I said and he chuckled briefly.

"No" he said.

"Yes, because you're not listening to me" I said and he shook his head.

"Yes I am" he spoke.

"What did I just say?" I asked.

"That I'm not listening to you" he said rolling his eyes.

"Before that" I said and he twisted his lips.

"Words" he answered with a smirk. I turned on my heels and walked towards the living room before he ran up behind me to stop me. He grasped my arm and pulled me back into him.

"Let go of me" I said and he frowned.

"I'm sorry baby" he said "I heard what you said, really"

"No you didn't" I said.

"We can do whatever you want today, I don't have anything in mind." he said answering my question making me smile.

"If you were listening then why did you act like you weren't?" I asked.

"Because you're hot when you're angry" he said.

"That reason is not good enough" I said and he smiled.

"I know it isn't" he said and I punched him in the shoulder.

"Ouch, baby" he said rubbing his shoulder.

"Did it hurt?" I asked and he nodded.

"You hurt me" he said in a baby's voice while he pouted.

"Aww my poor baby" I said.

"Yeah" he said and I kissed his cheek.

"Take Carter, I'm going to text Hannah" I said and he frowned.

"You're just going to leave me in here?" he asked.

"No, just hold Carter so I can text her" I said and he nodded.

"Daddy!" Carter giggled.

"Hi Carter" he said kissing his cheek.

"Where's my phone?" I asked curiously.

"On the counter top" he responded and I went over there to grab it.
