After spending two more days at Katherine's place they finally went back home, the car full with everything from the baby shower, the stuff from both pups, Sara's school bag and a home cooked meal from Michael's mother for the night, with dessert included, cheesecake because Katherine knew how much Dana loves them, especially now she's still pregnant
"Could you picture two more little cuties in the back seat? " Dana smiled looking at a sleeping Sara with the pups also asleep, cuddled up to her while Michael drove them home
"If possible we'll buy a big van- scratch that we'll buy an old schoolbus and fill it with our babies" Michael smiled at her
"You better find a donor woman because there is no way I be carrying that many babies, two is already killing me right now and I'm not even talking about giving birth yet" Dana told him
"Donor woman? You're too much" Michael smirked
"Na uh you're too much, by the way you think in let's say five maybe six years time we'll have a whole football team? Hell no, that means putting two babies in right after these are born and after that again, no I need a break plus I've my career too and you've yours" Dana mentioned
"Geez I was kidding about that schoolbus, but you don't want more than two? " Michael asked her
"We'll see, all I wanted was a daughter and now I have a son and a daughter so I already have more than I wished for" Dana said and stomach "Our two surprises" She smiled
"The most beautiful surprises ever" Michael smiled at her
"I agree" Dana smiled at him
They continued to talk a little before they arrived at home, parked the car, carried Sara inside the house and tucked her in, with both pups that followed them and fell asleep again with Sara while Michael and Dana unloaded the car and put the baby things in the nursery, their things in their room and the food in the kitchen before they took a nap themselves, Dana needed her rest because of the twins and Michael joined her because he'd been busy all morning and besides that Dana sleeps better with Michael holding her and her stomach, she knew she was going to miss that the most when the pregnancy was over, the throwing up, crazy food cravings, pains and tiredness she wasn't going to miss though
A half hour later Dana woke up, feeling hungry and felt the twins moving, probably they're the ones begging her to eat something
"I swear you both going to finish your plates once you get older, I won't be surprised if you guys go for a second plate, the amount of weight I gained because of you two is crazy, I wonder if you both aren't to big to get born, it's not much room to get out so better don't be too fucking big" Dana mentioned while rubbing her stomach and waking up Michael who heard her talking
"You think they understand that? " Michael asked, smiling and sat up next to her
"Probably not" Dana smiled "But I just wanted them to know" She added
"Didn't your doctor say last time Kathy was almost too small? " Michael remembered
"Yeah, but I'm worried about the other one, didn't you see the ultrasound picture thing?" Dana asked "He was like a big, good health, strong big baby" She added
"They're both healthy and strong babies, only one is bigger than the other one, that's normal he said" Michael reminded her
"I know but who knows how old he is? He also didn't see it was twins until we told him we thought it was twins" Dana mentioned
"I don't know, but he can't be much older than your mother" Michael mentioned
"Did you just call my mom old? " Dana angrily snapped at him
"What? No, I only meant-" Michael began
"I know, now get me my snack I'm hungry" Dana interrupted him while rubbing her stomach
"You're too much, go get it yourself" Michael answered
"But I'm pregnant" Dana pouted blinking her eyes at him
"Pregnant women can walk" Michael reminded her
"You're so mean" Dana cried "Why do you hate me so much? " She cried even louder "I thought you- you l- lov- lov-ove- loved m- mmm- me" She sobbed
"I do love you" Michael said and wiped her tears
"R- really" Dana sniffed looking at him
"Yes of course, I really love you" Michael told her
"Love you too" Dana smiled and kissed him passionately
He let her, her kissing him was better than her crying again or saying he doesn't love her, one thing he wasn't going to miss once she gave birth were her mood swings, she'd go from hungry to sad to happy to horny and back to hungry or if he was lucky she'd fall asleep because those emotions and feelings worned her out
He wasn't sure if he was going to survive another pregnancy, maybe two kids was enough he thought, well for now maybe in a year or so he thought different but right now he couldn't wait until it was the second week of April when the twins are ready to be born
After a few minutes of making out Dana cuddled up to him and slowly began to fall asleep again, all those hormones and emotions drained her energy plus that 30 minute nap wasn't enough since it was the only sleep she had since yesterday because of the twins keeping her awake last night apparently they didn't like her shrimps with banacream pie dinner from that night and that coffee also wasn't a good idea
A few minutes later when he knew for sure Dana was asleep he carefully tucked her in and got out of the bed and made his way downstairs, where he found Sara and the pups watching TV
While they watched TV he went to do some paperwork that needed to be done since he hadn't done much of it lately with Dana being pregnant and needing him for everything, dropping and picking Sara up at school, the whole getting married on paper thing, etc.
"I didn't know grownups have homework" Sara mentioned, taking place next to him at the table "Can I help? It's only fair, because you always help me with my homework too" She added
"That's a sweet idea but I don't think-" Michael answered but seeing Sara was looking down, all she wants to do is help "Well you could put the papers I'm done with into the files" He suggested "With the last dates first, and the newest dates last, kinda like from one to two to three, you understand? " He asked
"Yes, so this one goes before that one? " Sara asked and put the two contracts in the file
"Yes just like that, but only the ones that looked like that and are signed, the other ones not ok?" Michael mentioned
"Ok" Sara nodded and only put the contracts in the file, sorted by date and year
Once she was done she asked what to do with the other things, he told her those are receipts and pay day letters for the people that work for and with him and his personal assistant Gina would put them in envelops and send them out tomorrow
Sara said he had way more homework than she did
"Well that's because I haven't done my 'homework' in a while" Michael mentioned
"Well I hope your teachers or boss don't get mad at you then" Sara mentioned
"Don't worry about that, I am the boss" Michael smiled
"Can I help again next time? This homework is much nicer than mines" Sara said
"Sure" Michael replied
They cleaned the table and heated the dinner Michael's mother send with them that morning, once it was ready they woke Dana up and had dinner with the three of them, walked the pups and spend the night together with the three of them and the pups until they all went to bed
