By the time Michael and Dana woke up it was dinner time, Cathy made dinner for everyone and Sara made dessert, Wendy and Miguel didn't join them since they spend the day together and were at a hotel, ordering room service and staying the night there too
Once dinner was over the doorbell went
"Wonder who that is" Michael sighed and made his way to the door while Dana and Sara did the dishes and Cathy cleaned the table
Arrived at the door Michael frowned seeing two of his three Sisters standing there
"Gonna let us in?" La Toya asked
"On one condition" Michael answered
"That is? " La Toya asked
"If you two are here, because my so called brothers send you, you can leave now, if you're here beause you believe that...prostitute, then leave, but if you here because you don't believe that creature and just want to come over, you're welcome to come in" Michael mentioned
"Nobody send us, and you know I need to catch up with Dana" Janet told him "By the way didn't I already said I don't believe you be the dad of that girl?" She added, going inside the house to the others
"And you? " Michael asked
It was quiet for a minute
"Well? What do you think? " Michael asked waiting for La Toya to answer that question
"That you would be stupid to go back to your ex while you're dating Dana, and you're not stupid, so I believe you are not the father of Crystal, or whatever she's named" La Toya answered while also getting inside the house and joined the girls on the couch
While the girls catched up with Dana, Michael joined Sara in the kitchen since Cathy went upstairs already
"Uncle Michael? " Sara asked
"Yes sweetie? " Michael answered
"Um..." Sara began nervously
"Is everything ok?" Michael asked her
"Yes..and. no" Sara answered
"Why not? " Michael asked her "Those bullies at school again? Do you want me to stop by and tell them to leave you alone? " He asked continued
"No..that's not it" Sara replied nervously
"Then what is it? " Michael asked worriedly , something was obviously bothering her (Sara)
"Um....I...I...." Sara said struggling with the words
"Take a deep breath sweetie and then just say it, I told you you can always tell me everything ok?" Michael reminded her
She did what she was told and took a deep breath "I...I just found something out" Sara said softly
"What did you find out? " Michael asked
"Um I tried to ca-call mom but she didn't pick up or her phone died but I uh" Sara began "I- found b-blood" She whispered
"B-blood? Where? At school? In the Park?" Michael asked shocked "We should call police or so"
"N-no not somewhere else, it's from me" Sara mentioned, looking down
"Like a nosebleed? Don't worry there's a washing machine if it's on your shirt or pillow" Michael mentioned
"No not really, it's not stopping and from somewhere else" Sara said nervously "Am I going to bleed to death?" She asked
"No, it's, did you're mother have the girl growing up talk with you? " Michael asked her
"No" Sara answered shaking her head "What happens when I grow up? " She asked
Michael looked over at the girls who were no longer on the couch or in sight, just his luck, how was he going to explain this?
"Um..well uh...well when girls get older they uh..." He tried to explain "They have something that's called a period, that's the blood and that is like once a month, I think" He continued
"But why do girls have that? " Sara asked
"Uh" Michael began, thinking about it "Because. ....well" He tried and heard Dana and his sisters getting back downstairs "Auntie Dana can explain that better than me" He added
"Explain what? " Dana asked
"Why girls have a something that's called a period" Sara said
"You're-? My little niece is growing up too fast" Dana sniffed with tears in her eyes and hugged her "Of course I'll tell you everything" She promised, taking Sara with her to couch where she and Michael's sisters explained everything to her and answered all her questions
While the girls sat on the couch and explained everything to Sara, Michael called Wendy while walking Spotty and Sparky
"Hey" Wendy said into the phone, clearly not having checked the callers ID "Who's calling?" She asked catching her breath while whispering something to someone else, probably her boyfriend
"Where are you? Do you know what happened to your daughter? " Michael asked
"Oh my god is she ok?" Wendy asked worriedly and being alert again, sounding serious
"Yes she's ok but needed you for THE girl talk tonight" Michael told her
"Since when is she's having a boyfriend? " Wendy gasped "She's not pregnant is she? She's only thirteen" She rambled
"No not that talk" Michael replied "She said she called you but you didn't pick up so she came to me and asked what the blood meant, thankfully your sister and mines explained her what it means, beause I don't know how I could possibly explain that to her"
"My little girl is o-officially a little woman now? " Wendy sniffed "Why did I have to miss that moment? " She wondered out loud to herself
"I don't know, because you're spending all your free time with that boyfriend of yours" Michael answered
"That hurts you know? " Wendy replied
"Sorry, but it's the truth" Michael mentioned
"I'm heading home, right now" Wendy told him and hung up
Michael finished the walk with the dogs and made his way back home where only Dana and Sara sat on the couch, his sisters left in the meantime, they had to drive two hours back to the city and wanted to be home by midnight
"Ssshh, she's asleep" Dana whispered, smiling at Sara who fell asleep on her stomach "My little big niece" She smiled "She's a woman now" She sniffed with tears in her eyes
"She'll always be little Sara" Michael mentioned wiping her tears and sweetly kissed her
"I know" Dana whispered smiling "By the way you're so brave trying to explain it" She smiled at Michael
"When we have a daughter, I swear you doing the whole thing" Michael replied
"If you promise me that you'll do the same if we have a son" Dana answered
"Why? That's a mom thing to do" Michael answered
"For the girls, you do the talk if we have son" Dana told him
"We'll see" Michael mumbled
Two and a half hours later Wendy arrived at home and carefully carried Sara to her room, she woke up and asked her mother if she stayed with her, she did and they both fell asleep in Sara's room
Michael and Dana spend the night downstairs on the couch and fell asleep there too while Spotty and Sparky slept on their bed
