Chapter 24

A few weeks later, early on October 1990,

Cathy had gone back to her boyfriend in Hawaii but called every other day to see how her daughters and granddaughter are doing, and of course to ask Michael if he was made sure Dana wasn't over working herself 

Dana had her 12 week check up, so far everything looks good with the baby but still she doesn't want to know if it's a boy or girl, the doctor respecting her wishes kept his word and didn't tell her anything

Slowly she's starting to show a little baby bump, trying to hide it for the media with wearing wide clothes, the last thing they need is more press following them everywhere 

She's also hormonal a lot of the times and her morning sickness was most of the time horrible and other days she didn't even have it 

Michael was busy recording and writing music, checking the office every now and then and of course making sure Dana and their unborn child are ok 

Wendy still lives at the house with Sara and is getting back to her working schedule, training with her handsome trainer she still didn't introduce to Michael and Dana or Sara because after all they like each other a lot but she just has to figure out if they are in love or not, they've only been out once and she told the others she had a late meeting that night

Janet and Sam are busy planning their wedding and dropping by every now and then 

Katherine also drops by every now and then to check on her son, his fiancé and of course little Sara who found herself a second grandmother in Katherine 

George his family never cared about Wendy or Sara since Wendy was stupid enough to get pregnant by George, they blamed her for that, not George because he was such a wonderful young man, he was nice enough to marry her after Sara was born and turned out to be his, they also blamed Wendy for the divorce and not George while he's the one screwing around with everything that wears a skirt 

Thankfully the divorce was final last week and Wendy got full custody over Sara with Dana, Michael and her mother as backup if something would happen to her 

Friday afternoon,

Dana is taking her nap while Wendy is working with her trainer again 

Michael picked Sara up at school since the school year started again in september, basically that's the reason they're still in the USA instead of in Hawaii with Cathy, maybe the fact Wendy likes her trainer a lot also might be a reason to stay a little longer 

"Uncle Michael? " Sara asked 

"Yes?" He answered her while driving home 

"Why did someone from my class ask if auntie Dana is pregnant? And by who? " Sara asked a little confused about why someone would randomly ask her that 

"I'm not sure, but what did you say? " Michael asked her

"I told them to get a life because that's non of their business" Sara said "Mommy and auntie Dana said that's the answer I should give" She added, shrugging her shoulders "But my teacher Mr Parker said I was rude"  

"You're not being rude, because it is non of their business, but maybe you should have said it like: that's not for me to answer those questions" Michael explained 

"But their dad work at Showbizz the magazine and TV show" Sara answered 

"Really? " Michael asked 

"Yeah and they, showbizz are the trash thing according to auntie Dana" Sara said innocently 

"They are the trash thing as auntie Dana says they are, so maybe your mother or so should stop by at school to tell your teacher Mr. Parker to keep an eye on them" Michael mentioned

"I'll ask her" Sara promised

The rest of the drive home they talked a little more about school and her homework, what they would do in the weekend and if she could walk Sparky and Spotty tonight with Michael or her mother and maybe Dana 

Arrived at home Sara went to the yard with Spotty and Sparky after putting her bag upstairs in her room 

Michael went to the couch where Dana was having her nap and sweetly kissed her or she would sleep all afternoon and be awake all night again 

"Hey there, how are you both doing? " He asked her and placed his hand on her stomach while she sat up and smiled at him 

"Hey" Dana smiled "We're OK until you woke us up" She added, hiding her smile 

"It's for your own good because otherwise you'd be awake all night again" Michael reminded her  

"I could think of something to do while we awake" Dana winked and kissed him 

"Didn't your doctor say it gets you into labor? " Michael mentioned while Dana rolled her eyes at that

"Only in the later stages of the pregnancy not right now" Dana said and shrugged her shoulders "So that's why I haven't had some hot sex since my birthday? " She scoffed, a little annoyed 

"Excu- what? " Michael asked raising his brow at her "Oh and what about yesterday? " He reminded her while crossing his arms 

"That's not what I meant, that's not hot sex, that was slow sex" Dana scoffed, also crossing her arms 

"No, it's called making love, instead of meaningless rabbit sex" Michael reminded her

"Pff im not some old out of shape woman- wait meaningless? " Dana asked him

"Well yeah, there is more meaning behind making love than just plain sex" Michael reminded her  

"So, the way I got at this point" Dana mentioned while pointing at her small baby bump "Is because of meaningless sex with a roommate on the kitchen counter? FUCK YOU TOO" She continued, getting angry at him 

"No- wait look" Michael sighed "Calm down ok?" He told her "Let's just forget this conversation and focus on the baby" He mentioned

"Fine" Dana scoffed and made her way to the kitchen 

- Wendy 

She just finished her work out and was on her way back while texting  her trainer 

Wendy: Can't wait for out date tonight 😁

She was exited to go on a date with him since it would be the first date after her official divorce from George and their first real date outside working out with each other

A few minutes later she got an answer while getting into the bus

Miguel: I'll see you at 6, ok? You're still at your sisters place?

Wendy: Yes I'm still living there

- At home,  

Dana apologized for her behavior and asked Michael if he'd help her with cooking dinner, of course he accepted her apology like most of the time lately with her hormones all over the place and helped her cooking dinner 

Once Wendy got home she spend some time with Sara and walked the dogs with her until it was time to get ready for her date with Miguel, who she would meet outside the gate in an half hour
