Just before dinner Wendy, Sara, Miguel and the pups got back, while Wendy was outside kissing Miguel goodnight, he couldn't stay because he had an early appointment the next morning, Sara made her way in the house with the pups following her
Inside the house she found Dana asleep on the couch and Michael holding her and rubbing her stomach while softly talking to her stomach, so she went to the kitchen, feeding Spotty and Sparky with their own bowls
"....so both of you be nice to mama, beause then mama is nice to dada too" Michael mentioned and sweetly kissed Dana's stomach while she was still sleeping and the twins, Michael is almost a hundred percent sure it's twins, Dana's carrying, were moving a little while he kissed her stomach again "Shh don't wake mommy up, she needs some rest" Michael mentioned rubbing Dana's stomach, that seemed to calm them (the twins) down
"Michael, shut up! I wanna sleep" Dana mumbled with her eyes still closed "Once they're here you can talk to them the whole damn day" She sighed falling back asleep
"They better not have your attitude" Michael sighed and got off of the couch, he walked into the kitchen and found Sara and the pups there "Hey you guys are back"
"Yes, mom and Miguel went house shopping and talked with a man who had a suitcase and very expensive looking suit" Sara mentioned
"A real estate agent? " Michael guessed
"I think so" Sara answered looking down
"Hey why so sad? You're still welcome here" Michael told her
"I heard something about down town New York City" Sara sighed "My mother knows I don't want to go there" She sniffed "Please adopt me" She begged him
"Sweetie, we don't know for sure, maybe they canceled the plan of moving to down town New York City" Michael replied
"And if not? " Sara asked with tears in her eyes
"Then I'm sure Auntie Dana and grandma Cathy will do everything to keep you here" Michael replied
"And you? Will you help me stay? " Sara asked him with tears in her eyes
"Of course I will help you" Michael promised and wiped her tears, his heart broke for her, she's like a daughter to him, now more than ever since Wendy and Sara temporary moved in
"Thank you" Sara sniffed and hugged him while she cried some more
"Ssshhh I promise you I'll help you" Michael told her and wiped her tears "Let's go find your mother ok?" He mentioned
"Ok" Sara sniffed and wiped the last of her tears
Together they went looking for Wendy and found her by the front door still making out with Miguel, thankfully they were finishing up and saying their good nights
"See you next week" Wendy told him
"Can't wait to be back" Miguel replied and kissed her again
"I'll miss you" Wendy mentioned
"Will miss you too, I promise to be back before new years eve" Miguel promised and stepped into his car
Wendy waited until the car was out of sight and went back inside, bumping into Michael and Sara
"New York City? " Michael asked
"What's with New York City? " Wendy asked
"I heard you and Miguel talking about going there" Sara told her "I already said I don't want to go there" She reminded her mother "Can I stay with Auntie Dana and Uncle Michael" She added
"Sweetie it's just for a week, like a holiday" Wendy answered
"Really? Not for good? " Sara asked
"Why ask a real estate agent about it? " Michael asked her
"Because he knows what's best to stay at for a decent price" Wendy answered
"So we're not moving to New York? " Sara asked
"No we're not" Wendy answered
"Thank you" Sara smiled and hugged her mother
The three of them went back inside the house where they found Dana standing there with her arms crossed
"I knew it" Dana scoffed shaking her head at Michael
"What? " Michael asked not knowing what she meant by 'I knew it'
"Can I talk to you" Dana replied and pulled him with her, to the office down the hall "Why the flying fuck do you have a guard staying at the fucking hotel with that bitch and her daughter ( Diane and Crystal) " She snapped at him after closing the door behind her
"Well there's no one else who looks after them, no child deserves to be in danger" Michael mentioned
"Ugh" Dana scoffed rolling her eyes "This could be so much easier! Her mother (Diane), obviously isn't a stable person, Therefore Crystal should be going to her father, your brother who's too damn dumb to admit he's her father instead of you, and Hallo they both are his responsibility now, NOT yours" She told him
"I know all of that" Michael answered
"But?" Dana asked
"Well...it's just that, she (Diane) and I- we made a promise to always help each other no matter what. ..and....well..a..she- we...I don't know I guess you always have a weak spot for your first real love, you know, the one you thought you were going to marry one day" Michael sighed
"So? She obviously forgot that when she fucked and got by pregnant by your brother!" Dana reminded him
"By the way how'd you knew that? About the guard? " Michael asked her
"Oh, he called and said she (Diane) talked with a therapist to get her life back on track, Crystal means too much for her to continue her XTC and cocaïne addiction" Dana scoffed
"What? XTC and cocaïne?...why?" Michael gasped
"Duh, it's obvious, A: she met wrong people, B: she wanted to try something new, C: someone drugged her and D: all of the above" Dana scoffed
"Good thing she's willing to do something about it (it being her addiction)" Michael mentioned
"Yes it is, but anyway, she's still not my favorite person," Dana scoffed
"I know that" Michael replied
"How did you two met anyway? " Dana asked
"She was my personal assistant, just finished her studies and everything, no one was willing to give her a change, because she would be an inexperienced young woman, so I said why not? I needed an assistant badly and she was the only one not throwing herself at me during the job interview, she seemed truly serious about the administrative tasks and she had good grades too" Michael told her "Anyway long story short, we fell in love and working together with your other half is not a good idea, because what's work related and what not? You know. ..so I asked her what else do you want to do? She said she wanted to try acting, I knew some people who could help her with that and so she became a actress" He explained and sighed
"Ok fuck you for giving her an acting career the easy way, so where's the breaking up part? " Dana asked him
"Hey shut up I loved her and I was getting to the breaking up part, for fuck sake have some patience. ...OK so one day, I got home and found a bill from a abortion clinic, I asked her about it, of course she denied it first, saying she paid for a friend of hers, I didn't buy it so she admitted it, she said it'll kill her career that was just getting somewhere, but I said things would work out if she kept it, not telling me about it, maybe that even hurts more than the abortion itself, what if I never found that bill? " Michael mentioned
"Then this would not have happened" Dana told him while pointing at her stomach
"I know,....we might argue sometimes but I know you wouldn't do such thing (an abortion)" Michael mentioned
"I love you too much for that" Dana smiled at him and kissed him while he wrapped his arms around her and held her close, for as far as that's possible with her huge babybump between them
